If you have an electric range, look at both the top and bottom elements while oven is cold. Look for a rough spot like a hole in the element. You may have just burned out one of the elements. Sometimes they go bad without any marks. Turn on oven to about 350 and watch the bottom element to see if it gets red hot. Then set for broil and watch the top for the same red hot glow. If either does not glow red after 5 to 10 minutes, that element is bad.

SOURCE: oven smoking

smoke is caused only by fat getting onto an element and should stop after a while, ie when all the fat is burnt off. this is usually a problem with the grill element.
you can get a finjhe mesh grid which fits over the centre vent in the back plate and this should help

SOURCE: large yellow flame, not cooking food thoroughly

I think ill give it a try for you. The gas lines come in thru you cutoff valve then thru you gas valve and on to the burner. right before the burner you will see a bell shape fitting. The gas line is in the center of the fitting and there will be some opening around this fitting That fitting has dust clogging it up. This is where the gas mixes with the air Turn your oven off and blow this fitting out.

SOURCE: Wolf Double Oven

I had the same problem with a Wolf L-Series double wall oven (Model DO30) and called for service (under extended warranty contract). The tech told me that the F1 error is a latch problem (you know the one that grabs and locks the door during self-clean cycles). He cleared the error using a series of "secret" button presses on the control panel and the problem cleared. Now, when it happens (which isn't very frequently), I do the same thing he did ... press "0" and "Temperature" for the oven causing the problem and hold them for about 5 seconds. The oven will ding and the display will show some diagnostics, including the error event. Press "Cook Time" and "Stop Time" while in this diagnostic mode to clear the error register, then press "Off". I've also tried to keep the area across the top of the oven opening clean (with a little degreaser), especially around the latch, and I've sprayed a bit of WD-40 into the latch periodically for lubrication and cleaning.

There are two elements on oven-both at the top.Grill&Element-I am using the normal oven element but my pizza does not cook through only on the top. How do I bake

Hi Michelle,
You need to preheat a heavy gauge baking tray first and then cook the pizza using the main element only. Also experiment with the position in the oven (eg. high or low).

you are using the broiler to cook it,the upper element is the broiler, the lower one is for the oven, turn on the oven so that the bottom element is on,if it doesnt work, then that is the problem

Pizza scorching on bottom

This may sound simple but....Do you know for sure the oven temp is 550 (use a thermometer on the stone to be sure) The thermostat may be set at 550 but could be running hotter? I have had this problem in the past with ovens.

MICROWAVE OVEN HOW TO USE POWER LEVEL AND COOKING TIME. For example a want to cook pizza what will i use?

We probably need a little more info on your particular oven before suggesting what power levels and times. Do you know the wattage of it i.e 900w?

Does it have presets on it? Your manufacturer may have put auto programs on it to reheat, cook from frozen etc.

Final hint: If you are buying things such as frozen pizza, microwave dinners, the microwave instructions are usually on the box with a recommend time for a particular wattage oven.

Why does food get hard after cooking or reheating in a microwave

It's basically a loss of moisture during the cooking process, to avoid this in a standard oven cook on a lower temp for longer and cover with foil....in the microwave, drop the power setting and always reheat or cook with the food cover with a microwave safe cling wrap or microwave specific cookware with lids.
Hope this helps.

Cooking

A good pre-heated pizza stone will help cook the crust better when the pizza is placed right on the stone. As for the cheese burning, check the actual temp. of the oven with a good thermometer.
