Samsung LCD TV UN55C7000WF will not turn on

Samsung UN55C7000WF, front standby light is lid, indicating power on power supply. When I press power, standby light goes out, then power supply relay clicks on and off continuously until unplugged. Power supply looks good, no bulging caps, blown fuses or shorted diodes or transistors. Shop Jimmy has a repair kit for the power supply, don't know if this will help me. I'm leaning to a bad main video board. Looking for a more positive answer, your thoughts. Thanks in advance for your help. Victor

Fault at its main digital board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts.

In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.
Before going further; try a hard reset first. If it does not help you, replace the main digital board. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; visit the site linked here.

LCD TV no power but standby light on solid

The standby light means the tv is plug into the wall and getting power. A power surge can wipe out a tv and still leave the power light on.

Lcd tv totally dead

Follow the money or the voltage here- standby power appears to be up but if so why no standby light up front? Have you checked all the caps in the supply? The 5 volts should be for the micro so this sounds like either main supply/standby not up or something pulling it down..

The real clue here is set has no power indication of standby---you are aware of the reason the caps fail in the standby power supply?

Just trying to get an idea of how much expertise you have.

The TV will not turn on. No power light

Check the power supply; look for bad caps with leaking/bulging tops, check to see if you have standby +5vdc at the power supply connector, the front red indicator will not be on if you do not have this +5vdc standby voltage due to shorted out Q7 and ZD4.

PLTV 3250 no power

First make sure it does have at least red indicator on the front panel, if not, the standby +5vdc is not working, common problem with this monitor is dead power supply due to bad caps, shorted transistor and Zener Diode in the standby power supply.

TV ON STANDBY MODE

The blinking light on the front indicates a shorted part in the power supply. The power board will need to be replace or repair to restore the LCD functionality.
