Get a cleaner, they come in CD form and available on appliance stores.Put the CD cleaner in and it will clean your player. When dust settles on the lens it will obscure the laser and will give the micro-controller the message that it can't read any data thus the message"No Disk" is displayed.
first unplug it for 10 min then retry it. otherwise it is the power supply, the low voltage and high voltage supply are on the same board, have your tech send it in to be rebuilt if he is unable to do it him or her self.
May be the power fuse.
Older CRT sets had an external chassis-mount fuse holder at the rear.
Nowadays, many sets have the fuse on a power / control board inside.
If fuse is blown, renew with an identically-rated match.
This protects the TV.
Unplug everything! There is a "breaker" in the power supply and it may need to be reset. Just unplug all cables from the TV and outlets. Let it sit for a couple hours then plug everything back in and it should work fine. If not then the power supply has shorted out due to a strong power surge. You can claim it under your home owners insurance or call Nintendo and try to get it replaced. Thanks! Good luck and happy gaming!!
Suspect the printer's program is scrambled (didn't "boot" right)
Could there have been any power fluxuations/lightning during the night? Even if it wasn't on, if it was plugged in the wall then there could have been damage. Are you using a universal power device or a current protector?
Unplug the unit from the wall, wait 20 to 30 seconds for the power capacitors to disipate their energy and then plug it back in. This will do a HARD reset.
