What does the following symbol which shows up at unanswered phone calls mean?

The symbol "E" indicates Internet/GPRS is active.So if you want to remove this "E" >Open Menu>Setting>Connectivity> Packet Data>Pocket Data Connection.....there are two sub-menus 1.When needed 2. You use teh shift key and the [FN] key to access these extra sets of characters. If it is basically a circle around a symbol then press and Hold the [FN] key while pressing the key you want. If it is the ?,,{,},:," or any of the symbols on the upper part of the number keys at the top of the keyboard just press and hold the shift key while pressing the key.

Hi, the E symbol is nothing but EDGE which is used to connect for Internet. It means you have enabled the EDGE or GPRS connection Always Online option on your Cellphone.

Here's how to disable it: Please open Menu>Settings>Connectivity>Packet Data>Packet Data Connection>When Needed.

This will make connection to EDGE or GPRS only when you use Internet on your Cellphone.

When you make a Call the E symbol is strike out because the call connection will disconnect the Internet Connection.

The circle with a slash through it means that you can remove the valve, the little cloud spraying means pressure release and the next symbol, or numbers, indicated pressure.

This icon basically means you cannot make calls, it normally means either you have mobile signal turned off or your handset has been blacklisted. Call Verizon to check the blacklist status.

Check to make sure that

1. speakers are powered
2. speaker is plugged into proper port (most are green 1/8" jack)
3. speaker volume is up
4. sound device isn't muted (will have small red "circle\slash" symbol over speaker in system notification area)

Where do you see symbol? On the dash? I'm going to guess it's the choke light.
