Re: Ice maker won't stop filling. Makes a little ice, but...
The water control valve is shot. It's not making ice because there is a constant flow of water into the ice tray. Shut the water off at the feed point for the fridge for now. If the drain gets plugged you're going to have a small catastrophe on your hands.

is your bin line and dump line tied together if so it could be just ice melting. If not can you here water filling up constantly while machine is off? if so is it running over sump tray into ice bin. if dump valve was stuck open then machine will not make ice.
Did the ice buildup appear to resemble the water overfilling the top of the ice maker? The only thing that I believe that may work is removing the ice maker, clean the excess ice buildup.dry and reinstall the ice maker and see it works. If the ice is above the normal level the ice can cause the motor that pushes the ice out of its slots to strain more than the gears or motor can handle stripping the gear or damaging the motor beyond repair, When harvest takes place the first thing that happens is a heater below the ice maker warms the cubes a little just enough to allow them to slide out of their slots and fall into the ice bin. The ice make for your model does not have replaceable parts and if bad or damaged it is less expensive and time consuming to by a new ice maker. If the water fills above the top of the ice maker it is usually the fault of the water control valve not closing all the way once it fills the ice maker after each harvest. Did water refill the ice maker when you cleaned it? Did the water overfill after you cleaned out the ice maker? What I am asking is water over filling ice maker again after you cleaned out the excess ice? If the water continues to flow from the WR57X10032 Water Inlet Valve
It probably is not the water valve. More likely it is the ice maker itself. Nothing else in the machine controls the flow of water to the ice maker except the ice maker itself. It is recommended that both the ice maker and the water valve needs to be replaced when trouble such as this.
There should be a plastice hinge cover on the left top hinge on freezer door. Take it off and press the plug together firmly. Try that and let me know, Sea Breeze
Make sure the fill tube going directly into the icemaker is not touching the part that receives the water, if it is touching the water will spray all over and not go into the cavity
Do you mean the ice cubes are too large to be individual cubes and come out as a lump? The water is filled by a timed fill so if the fill solenoid stays open a little and drips water into the cube tray it will have more water than normal.
I guess I'm not sure if you mean the ice cubes are stuck together in the tray or are they sticking together in the holding bin area?
