Bandsaw SBW3501B 14 inch cut 2553mm blade that is 100.51 inches
blades are shipped coiled, WEAR GLOVES, blades are designed to cut !!! as you cut the last tie, throw the blade away from you as it will uncoil with some force. better for that force to hit the floor than your ear '-)
You will need to find a way to level the spindle if the shafts isn't bent, remove belt and release spindle brake then spin blade and check for wobble. If you have shafts wobble replace spindle. If no wobble find a block of wood that fits snugly between good blade and concrete floor or drive. Check all blades for height from floor if center is the only one that has a different height then you will need to loosen spindle ,place some type of metal shim under low side , re-tighten and re-check. If other blades show difference on one side , you may have a bent blade or spindle or spindle mounting on them. The deck is sheet metal and can be bent when a foreign object is struck. There are also deck levelers on the supports. If the front of mower is up or down it will cause a high or low center blade path of cutting. All blades should be as close to the same height from a level surface as possible. This is time consuming but the only way other than new deck and/or spindles and blades.
who ever told youy 12 and 6 and 3 and 9,is crazy in the head, the first time you hit heavy grass on one side, that will change, the problem is your blades, your blades are probably 22 inch, they need to be 21.2 inches, and if they are, then your spindles have moved and you need to fix thathere is your parts list, and pics of the blades you need, Cub Cadet LT1042 13AX11CG010 Cub Cadet Lawn Tractor 2008 after Mower Deck...
if it broke apart when it hit the floor then you will have more problems than just putting the blades back on. those are fairly well put together so coming apart means they hit pretty hard. you wont ever get them to cut right even if they go back together. your gunna have to just buy new ones.
Worked at a tool rental store while attending college and learned some tricks from the old-timers. To extend the life of flexible blades such as the one used on floor tile removers, use a second shorter blade on top of the longer blade (double blades). The shorter backup blade tends to absorb the extra force making the longer blade last longer before breaking. The length of the shorter backup blade is trial and error, however start with about 3/4 to one inch back from longer. The wide chipper bits tends to break also. The wider the bit, faster to break. No matter what size hammer. Has to do with the bit hitting the stop on the forward motion. Some older chipper hammers that had rubber or spring loaded bit stopper would prevent wide chipper from breaking so fast. Good luck
2 things come to mind. I've installed Wood Floors for the last 5 years.
Make sure you have enough Air pressure running to the stapler, and Second, Whack the hell out of it. You can be rough with it. Their designed to take a beating
When u hit it with the mallet, youre opening a valve which shoots the piston and drives the staple into the boards. hit it not hard enough, not enough air is being sent to the piston to drive it fully.
The blade lines upaccording to the rotor shaft and has nothing with the guide except for the fact that the table has been droped and bent out of place or has been tweeked out of place somehow, usually hitting the floor from the table top causes this. Loosen the table screw to see if you can get it back in place and square it back up, hope this helps, good luck!
D Farley,
I repair these nailers all the time. Anytime the nail or staple is bending you have 2 causes. Either the stapler has a broken blade, the magazine is loose on the foot gate, or you are shooting into plywood over concrete. that is allowing the staple to hit the cement subfloor. Use 11 /2" staples on 3/4" wood floor over 3/4" plywood when over concrete.
