SOURCE: Printer setup

Continuous forms paper fed through the front of the printer also uses either the Front Push, Rear Pull, or Push-Pull tractor configurations. Make sure this is set correctly or it will reverse your margins.

It could also be your software. When you print through windows it's using the Microsoft system font controller, but your software could be setting font, margins, and alignment by the settings in the printer not in the driver. So if the first doesn't work, set your system back to align left then go into the printer configuration menu on the device and adjust the margins there.

SOURCE: I have Epson LQ 2180.

Hi

My friend we have LQ2180 in our office, there i a lever in the right side of the printer that indicates when you print your document. Adjust to upward to print the document from rear tractor and to print from the front push the lever downward. Maybe you accidentally, push down the lever.

Load error

When trying to print on continuous stationery, the display may show "Online Single Load". This will occur if the printer is expecting to print on single sheet paper even though you may want it to print on continuous paper. To clear the error follow this procedure. • Take the printer off-line by pressing the Online key • Press the Setup key • Press the key under "Paperway" in the display • Select Tractor 1 (or Tractor 2 if fitted/required) • Press the key under "Set" • If the job still refuses to print try loading the printer with a single sheet of paper to clear the command. To do this remove the tractor feed paper and close the cover on top of the tractors but not the outside cover. You will see a guide into which put a single sheet of paper and press the key under "Load" in the display. • The printer should commence printing. If it does not, then press and hold the key under "LF/FF" to eject the single sheet. Now follow the instructions above again to select the Tractor. The display should read "OnLine Tractor Load". Load the tractor fed paper into the Tractors and press the key under "Load". The printer should now be ready to print. Check your software settings for the correct paper path type. Ensure that the display does not show "Manual" otherwise you will have to clear this error in the same manner as you have for Single sheet

When paper loaded on tractor and press load paper at that time tractor rolls reverse why this happens?

I am sure your paper release lever is in single sheet position in which case the printer pulls back the continuous pater to allow you to add single sheets. Check and comment.

Printer is not printing with these pages alternating"online single load" and "load paper from single"

The printer is indicating that the paper path has been changed (either via the control pannel on the printer or by escape command) to the single sheet feeder.
I guess you are using Continuose Paper fed into the tractors at the front of the printer (Tractro 1), if this is the case you need to go into the menu on the printer and change the paper path back to Tractor 1.

Take the printer off-line by pressing the Online key
Press the Setup key
Press the key under "Paperway" in the display
Select Tractor 1
Press the key under "Set"

This should change the peer path to the front Tractor, if this does not work power the printer OFF and disconnect it from the computer system. Then power the printer back on again and again try changing the paper path as described above.
If you get the message LOAD SINGLE only when you send data to the pritner you need to check the paper path selected on the computer system.

I have a Tally T2245 with load error. ASF-R

Sounds like the paper path has been changed I guess you are using the front Tractor (tractor 1) to load continuose paper.
You need to go into the menu and change the paper path back to Tractor 1.
Disconnect the pritner from the computer system, and power the printer off and back on again to clear the buffer.

  • Take the printer off-line by pressing the Online key
  • Press the Setup key
  • Press the key under "Paperway" in the display
  • Select Tractor 1 (or Tractor 2 if fitted/required)
  • Press the key under "Set"

  • This should change the paper way back to Tractor 1

    Line feeds

    Hi-

When you said line feed do you mean the Top of form?

    hope this helps

    1. Make sure the printer is turned on and the desired tractor is selected (the corresponding tractor arrow should be lit).
    2. Open the upper cover.
    3. Press the Top of Form button to enter top-of-form mode. The printer beeps once, and the Top of Form light turns on.
    4. Use the Micro Feed buttons to feed the paper to the desired top-of-form position. The “A” on the ribbon protector shows you where the bottom edge of your first line of text will print. This position is based on the first printable line of text. If your software inserts a top margin of five lines, your text will actually print five lines below the top-of-form position.
    5. Press the Top of Form button again to exit and save your new top-of-form position. Then close the top cover.

Keep me posted if you have inquiries, thanks!
