Reset it, start it with the right door open, go to service mode, clear the counters for drum and developer and go to functions menu. Close the right door and start immediately the F8 function. It should work.

If is a BW 350 go to service mode ( stop 0 0 stop 01) counter apecial part counter reset drum and dev switc off the very quiqly service mode function run f8. Did you replaced drum and developer?

C2557 is the code for ATDC sensor failure. ATDC stands for Automatic Toner Density Control. This code is usually caused by either a sensor failure or more commonly a mismatch in what the machine should have for toner density level and what the sensor is seeing. I have even seen this code pop up if the machne is run low on toner. Bad news is it is going to require service. This may require a drum and developer change to resolve as well. So you will need to call your local service company/guy and get it repaired.

Check the toner bottle to ensure that it is feeding toner into the sub hopper unit under the bottle. I have a Konica Minolta Bizhub 282 that is moving papers well from the ADF but when about to copy, the blank papers get stuck in the drum unit area and error code C2557. How can l solve this?

Replace Drum Unit and Developing Unit.

Error code 2557

Hi,
C2557: Abnormally low toner density detected black TCR sensor.
Detailed Error code explained below.
Possiable solutions.
* Open and close the front toner door.
* Restart the machine by turning off the LCD screen power switch, then by the main body switch located behind the access panel above tray 1 indicator light.
* Call Konica to get a tech out.

TCR sensor
• When sampling data is determined in TC
ratio calculation control, TCR sensor output
is higher than a predetermined value for a
predetermined number of times in a row
even though there is toner in the sub hopper.

Ican't run F8 because of error C2557

Error c2557 means ATDC sensor abnormality.Most probably the developer is very low or weak in such condition.Check the developer.You can also increase ATDC GAIN in technical representative mode in order to get rid of this problem.
Also check the PC life/consumables life in "Counter"---"Special Parts life counter".Check if the life of PC Drum is 100% or near to 100 ten clear its value by pressing "C" button.Clear all counters to zero value.Now restart the machine and run F8.It will run smoothly.If you are replacing new developer then there would be no problem with it.
