SOURCE: Oven shut down during Self-cleaning
tde, sounds like your thermal fuse (TC0) opened on the back side of the oven. If this opens, it will shut the oven down. This happens alot during self cleaning on built ins. Sometimes I have to re-route the tco to a different area to prevent this from happening. Your part number is 4451442. You will have to pull the oven out far enough to remove the back paneling and replace the fuse....Catriver..post back.

SOURCE: oven wont work after self clean
I have a Whirlpool MOD. RBS275PDB17 single electric self-cleaning oven; although the manual is generic, it specifies, "When the cycle is completed and the oven cools, "End" will appear on the lower oven display and "LOCKED' will disappear" and "To Stop Self-Clean any time: Press UPPER/OFF, LOWER/OFF or OFF/CANCEL. If the oven temperature is too high, the door will remain locked. It will not unlock until the oven cools." Has your oven had time to cool?

Hi,
You have one or two possibilities here, one is your control board is
going out. The second is that the Latch to the door, or switch is
failing causing the clean door message.
The cheapest fix would be to inspect the door latch and switch to make sure it is making solid contact.
A POSITIVE RATING WOULD BE HIGHLY APPRECIABLE.
Hope i helped you.
Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

I unplugged the oven and it cleared the code and was able to self clean the oven.
Hi,
I would buy a new stove if it means that much to you cause if you clean it you will be buying a new one anyway...
Before you go working too hard to get you oven to go into the self clean mode(self destruct)....check out this tip...
