Your GE Universal remote needs to be programmed to match your Sanyo model 32648 TV.

Please visit:
https://jascoproducts.com/support/ge-universal-remote-codes

It will tell you how to determine which version of GE universal remote you have, and how to program your remote.

Then you will need to use the Sanyo manual to perform the scan:
http://www.manualslib.com/manual/317727/Sanyo-Dp26648.html#manual

INITIAL CHANNEL SEARCH is on page 9.

SOURCE: cant change channels

Your in the video mode so you have to change the input. On the original remote, its the button left of the power button. A universal may not work for this. If you need the original remote, Its available at http://www.remotes.com Good Luck

You'll most likely need a Sansui remote made to work with your specific model TV. I have similar problems with my Toshiba TV. Check eBay.

SOURCE: Daewoo DVN-14F6N

Same problem...Went to Goodwill Store, they usually have a large basket of remotes. I found a Daewoo remote for a TV only, HOWEVER on the bottom it has a AIR/CABLE button. The remote doesn't say Daewoo on it only..."Remote Controller R-25B03". The rest of the button of course work with the TV portion of the DVN-14F6N.

SOURCE: Philips PC7225 hotel TV - can't access the menu to reprogram it.

0621 is the code- I used 2 different universal remotes(one for menu and one for scrolling) and solved my problem- when I got to cable, I selected no and was able to use all the originally unprogrammed channels

How can I do a channel scan on sanyo tv model DP26648 without a remote?

If you're trying to change the channel, it's the last 2 buttons on the side of the tv.

If you're trying to scan for additional channels you'll need a universal remote.

based on what the manual says you need to press the "menu" key to do a manual channel search.
unfortunately there is no menu key on the side of the tv.

here is a cheap universal remote that includes the menu button.

Sanyo model # ds19310 16 jnch tv stuck on video chanel wont change to any other chanel volume works pat of menue works but the channel search and two other chanel menue controls are not available tv skips...

Hi there,

If you still have the Sanyo remote, you just need to press the INPUT button on the remote. The channel search and some other functions are disabled when the TV is in video/AV/game mode.

If you don't have the Sanyo remote, but you have a Universal remote which you use with the TV, look for a button labelled INPUT or SOURCE on this remote and try pressing it.

If you don't have any remote for this TV or you are using a universal remote which does not have an INPUT or SOURCE button, please reply to me from within this page for further assistance and let me know the brand and model number of any universal remote you are using. There is no option in the menu for doing this, but there a couple of methods which work on some TVs

Hope this helps.

I hooked my tv up to cable, but cannot get cable channels to work... you can get them by putting numbers in remote, but will not show up when you scan up/down button on remote. Don't haveoriginal remote,...

Is there a Menu button on the remote that activates the Menu function on the TV? If there is, launch the Menu and look for an option titled Channel Memory, or Channel Scan, Add to Memory, etc. This functon will scan the channels and add active channels to memory.

Sanyo ds 27510 tv no remote want to setup my tv with an antennea, wont switch from video 2

If it has a MENU button, press it and use the volume up and down to manipulate the choices, press menu again when you get to channel setup. you want AIR if using off air or Cable for cable. Next screen should say start and press menu again, the channels will start to cycle. If htat doesnt do it, you have a new model than the one I just did tonight. OneForall remotes will probably not have the setup button you need to autoprogram. Best bet is to find a Sanyo made universal remote or other Sanyo remote on Ebay as alot of the buttons are proprietary to manufacturer. Some TV's are useless without their own remote if not on a external tuner (cable SAT or digital)

Admiral TV more channels

You will need a menu button to get to setup or channels for you to autoprogram the tv to find ALL the channels. AUTOPROGRAM is the word you need to find. If there is a menu button on the tv, then you can probably do it from there. If not, then you need the original remote from Admiral or at:

Sanyo stuck on video mode

Yippie, I figured out a solution that worked!!! I have a univeral remote from comcast, on that remote near the bottom left is a small button that says (input) tv/vcr, press that one time and whala!! the tv video screen was gone, I had to manually change the channel from the tv channel button on the unit. once I changed the channel to 3, my universal remote worked... the button is the second one from the bottom left... I was on hold with sanyo for a long time and just kept trying on my own, so good luck!!!!
