For the DVD player, there a couple of considerations.

1. Check if the CD you are trying to use is at the best of its health. Means no scratches.
2. Get the CD buffed to increase its readability
3. Get a good CD lens cleaner from your local CD shop
4. If all does not work, then you need to change the lens of the DVD player

just wash ur dvd with luke warm water..wipe it with soft cloth..then it,ll work..
