To elaborate on adding a second monitor to a desktop, many newer desktops come with multiple video out ports. Dell computers come with VGA and Display port and/or HDMI.
Display port is becoming very popular as you can adapt it down to almost any format; HDMI, DVI, VGA.
Also, if you have a discrete video card (add-on), it may have multiple video out ports also, including mini-display port (adaptable as well).
If you have the capability to add a second monitor already, simply plug the second monitor in (a reboot *may* be necessary) and open up your display properties (assuming you are running a Windows based computer, Mac's are a bit different) and you should be able to detect and identify your second monitor and choose how it works with your current one (mirror, extended).
As the other responder suggested, more detail in what you are wanting to accomplish, what hardware you have, and what operating system (and version) will garner much more detailed responses.

Most laptops have a VGA port so an external monitor can be added. Then you might have to press a Fn key combination to get the other monitor to display.
If you want to add a second monitor to a Desktop computer, you'll need to install another graphics card. A USB adapter card is available; do a search for different models available.

If neither of these answer your question, please explain exactly what you need a monitor to display from; you posted to the Network and Wireless Adapters section, which is confusing..

Can I add a second chime for upstairs working from the existing bell push

Most likely, but unless it is wireless, you will need to run bell wire from the downstairs chime to the upstairs chime unless the wire appears to be available any way. Probably just the connections are needed.

No signal from secondary monitor

YOU WILL HAVE TO GO TO DISPLAY PROPERTIES IN CONTROL PANEL OR THE GRAPHICS CARD CONTOL PANEL AND SET UP THE SECOND MONITOR.

I have a dell dimension 3000. I want to add a 2nd monitor. I believe the video is integrated, Does the unit have a slot to add a video card. What kind of card should be added?

The Dimension 3000 Springdale G chipset supports AGP 8X cards, integrated video, integrated audio, ICH5, 533/800 MHz FSB, dual channel DDR 333/400 memory, integrated Serial ATA, and the Intel Pentium 4 Prescott.
The AGP 8X slot refers to Advanced Graphics Port. You can add a AGP video card if you motherboard has that slot. Usually that slot is encased by a green plastic enclosure .

All fluids, tires, etc, checked out.

The check engine light doesn't monitor those things, it's an emissions warning. monitors a host of things that are emissions related. You need to have it checked by a technician. The most common cause is a loose (or defective) gas cap. Make sure it clicks when you fill up. As for being 1/4 qt low on oil, don't add that small of an amount. Only add if it's a full quart low. If you check it soon after the engine has been running it'll show low because there's still a lot of oil upstairs in the engine. The dipstick measures what's down low in the oil pan. Also don't add anything to the radiator; only add to the overflow jar. It's marked high and low; those are actually temperature dependent marks, it should be at the high mark when the engine is warm and low when the engine is cold. Coolant expands and contracts with temperature. Don't add straight H2O either; that should be 50-50 coolant/water. They'll do that when you get the oil changed.

No audio output device is installed, how do I put it in?? MAG monitor, Compace tower..

Depends on what operating system you are using. If you are using Windows Xp and above. You can try going into add remove hardware. Try adding a new hardware from list. When you can try reinstalling the windows audio driver. This has worked for me numerous times. Try this step
My computer
-Control panel ( use classic veiw)
-- Add Hardware
--- Click Yes
---- Scroll down to the bottom of the list and select add a new hardware device
----- install from a list 2nd option
------ click on sound video and game controllers
------- Try the Aztech systems and use the first option on the right hand window.
then click next until you are able to install it. It should work after that.

Hot Upstairs

A good heating guy should be able to balance your dampers to increase the airflow upstairs. Keep in mind heat rises. 2nd floors are the hardest to cool. You may need to add more returns to pull the heat down the the evaporator so it can be cooled. If you are lucky you may be able to adjust your blower up to a higher speed. You may have to even add some more supply airs. Check with your local building inspector. He may be able to give you a list of contractors in your area that would be good for this type of problem. Good luck>>>
