There are two types of reset to TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Service mode entry, adjust and exit procedure to many popular brand TVs are given. Never forget to exit the service mode, after all adjustments have been done.

SOURCE: Rotating the image.

Hi, I am not familiar with that model, But usually if you go into the settings menu you will see settings for the display which may be under "Display" "Rotate" "Keystone" "Flip" That model is made to be mounted upside down so somewhere in the menu there will be a setting similar to those I mentioned that will flip the image.

Hope that helps, Sorry I couldn't be more specific.

SOURCE: upside down image

These projectors are designed to be mounted upside down. Think of a projector that is ceiling mounted in a classroom. Change this setting in Menu - Advanced Menu - Setup - Mirror.

My hitachi LE42H508 still wont turn on after replacing power board. Power cord has power coming in but still nothing. No noise lights. Help

Your main board is probably dead and is not allowing the power supply to power up from standby mode. I have seen a few of these TV's fail recently and was able to fix them by replacing the eeprom on the main board.

Picture is upside down

Your projector is set in ceiling mode. This is for when it hung upside down from the roof. Without a make and model it's not possible to give exact instructions but if you search through the on screen menus and either find "factory default reset" or the image/picture mode section you will be able to reset it.

Upside Down Image

Hi there

Go into the Menu - you'll see a subfolder that either reads : Flip image or Mirror.

Go into this subfolder and change the image. If it doesn't work or you still can't find it notify me and I'll draw the user's manual and mail post you the exact steps.

Hitachi with blue out of focus or ghost imaging and have tried magic focus many times!

Good Day,
When you turn down the BLUE the TV will give a yellowish picture. That is why the TV has three CRT's, it needs all three colors. The problem most likely lies in the TV's Convergence Circuit. To repair yourself get KIT 10 @ 1-800-458-6053 or www. bdent.com. If not call a Factory Authorized Service Center and have them give a written estimate, avg cost $550.00.
good Luck, big IRISH.
