I have accidentaly deleted pics. Can I restore?

If you find your photos are deleted by accident or lost due to unknown reason, you'd better stop using your camera and then remove the memory card from it.
Then you can try some data recovery software for Mac or Windows to recover deleted photos from memory card.

Step 1: Gently remove the memory card from your camera.
Step 2: Find and install a data recovery software. There are many free softwares available on the web. If you are using windows then check out Recuva and if your are using mac then check out PhotoRec.
Step 3: Once you have the software installed and ready to use, please connect your sd card with your pc/laptop.
Step 4: Open the recovery software and select file type as images.
Step 5: Navigate to your sd card and set that as the recovery folder, click scan.
Step 6: Software will scan for the deleted images in your sd card. This process will take some time, please be patient.
Step 7: Once the scan is completed, software will display the list of deleted images which can be recovered.
Step 8: Select the images which you want and click on restore/recover. Select the destination folder where you need the recovered images.
Step 9: Recovery will be a slow process, once completed you can access all the photos in the destination folder.

Simply remove the memory card from your camera first. Insert it to your computer with a card reader. Then run a data recovery program on it. Generally speaking, the tool will help you find all the lost photos. You can then choose the ones you want and hit the Recovery button.

Use an old chip keeping the one with deleted photos on the desk top and do not touch.

I use Pandora Recovery. They offer a trial version from their website

I have had great results using this version.

Attempt first on a chip that you can use as a test
If you have deleted files recently on the test chip try to restore. I have not tried it with the chip in the camera. It may work?

After successful trial and you are confident in the process use the chip with the deleted files.
