Normal screwed down.
First pull out position.
Second pull out position.

Setting the Time:
Pull out the crown to position 3.
Rotate the crown to set the exact time.
Ensure that you are in the daytime12 hour segment by allowing the hands to pass 12 o'clock and notice if the date moved on or not.
If the date changed, then you will need to advance at least 2 hours before moving on to set the date.
If you do not need to change the date, return the crown to position 1.

Setting the Date:
DO NOT DO THIS IF THE WATCH IS BETWEEN 8pm & 2am
Pull crown to position 2.
Rotate the crown clockwise to set to the correct date.
Return the crown to position 1.

Resetting the Hands:
If the hands do not zero correctly, which might occur after a battery change or a violent shock, you can make adjustments by doing the following settings as long as the countdown is not in operation.
To correct the hour/seconds counter sub-dial, pull the crown out to position 2 and wait 1 second.
Press either the 2 or 4 o'clock button; the central timing hand will turn and stop [not necessarily at 12].
Press the 2 o'clock button to increment the hours/seconds counter sub-dial hand to position it at 60.
To correct the central timing hand, press the 4 o'clock button to increment the hand to the 12 position.
Return the crown to position 1.

If the battery had been replaced, the central timing hand defaults to the 10 minute position. If the battery had not been replaced, the central timing hand will return to the previously set position.

NordicTrack Z7xi treadmill console buttons not working

Hello there. It sounds as if you may have a button stuck on your console. Thus not allowing any other buttons to be pushed. (i.e. the 4 beeps). This is usually caused by the i-fit buttons (silver buttons on the front). If the machine is only 4 months old you should still be under warranty (1 year) I believe. This problem in most instances requires the console be replaced. You can contact nordictrack through iconservice.com or by using the number on the fron of your users manual.
Good Luck! Tim

Dryer was working and finished a cycle. I tried to turn it back on. When I press the start button it will beep but the drum will not spin. It seems to go through the cycles and will beep and show that all...

Usually this means the belt is broken, the belt may have just been old and worn out and it was time to replace it,or perhaps the wheels locked up or the idler and caused the belt to break. Look around for stiff wheels, bad bearings, glides and idlers. Its a good idea to oil the rollers with some temp resistant oil such as zoom oil. Dont use WD40 as this stuff is highly flammable and may cause a fire.
