I can't find my original software disc which came with camera. I am attempting to use the camera with a new computer.
You can find the software at the camera manufacturer site. Or just type in the camera model in your internet search bar with the words "software download" and it should bring you right to the software to be downloaded.
Testimonial: "Bill: I appreciate your response to my question. However- Kodak no longer makes digital cameras and provides no support for its products. I am looking for a source online where I could possibly download from the original disc. Curt"
Hey Curt - You can still download the drivers. They are available from a variety of sources online. DriverGuide.com is one. I have downloaded quite a few drivers for older cameras and other devices. I like to recycle old equipment-hate to see any of it go to waste. If u want some help looking - let me know what model camera it is.
Here is a link to some softwarehttp://www.kodakdriver.com/kodak-easysha...
If you want to buy the Kodak Easyshare disc with all the original software it's on EBAYhttp://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40...

I have just had the same problem! This URL http://getintopc.com/softwares/image-managers/kodak-easyshare-8-3-free-download/ will send you a file you can burn to a CD which you can use to replace the easyshare software on your computer. Be warned - If you have files already stored in Easyshare albums you will need your original data files from your earlier installation (See: C:\Program Files\Kodak\Kodak EasyShare software\bin\Catalog\ ) or similar.
What I have done is reinstall the software on the new computer, then copy my old Catalog files into the new installation, then, from within Easyshare, reconnect the photos to their new location on the new computer. It's a bit of work but you will get there. When I did this I was delighted to discover that not only did I get my 857 Albums back; but I also got the recognition of my Kodak Z990 within the software back as well! Aces!
Hope this helps you, Ciao, Jacq.
Why not just take out the memory card and use a card reader attached to the computer ? Then any image-manipulation software should enable you to edit your photos.
