50:1 But if your doing mostly low rpm cruising (trolling) then you could reduce that a bit to 75:1 to help reduce smoke. If you do mostly mid to higher rpm cruising, then 50:1 (1 pint to 6 gallons. )
Or 200mls in 20 liters if your Canadian.

What is the mix ratio for a Johnson outboard motor?

Any Johnson outboard motor built since 1964 requires a 50/1 fuel ratio. Motors built prior to that date require a 32/1 ratio, with the exception of a few fishing motors built prior to 1955 that use a 16/1 ratio.

What is the oil to gas ratio in my 4 horse Evinrude< Model # E4BRHCOB Ser # B101702

50:1 since the late 60's
Too much oil will gum up the rings, smoke too much and foul plugs. Use ONLY major outboard manufacturers oil, Mercury, Yamaha, Johnson/Evinrude TCW-3. They work the best, and no alcohol fuel.

Fuel ratio for 1968 mercury 9.8 outboard

The fuel ratio is 50/1. Eg.50 gallons of fuel to 1 gallon of oil.
On an older motor and newer cleaner burning oils, you may bring that down to 45/1.Hope this helps

I have a 1964 mercury merc 850 85hp boat motor.

I have the same motor, and the original manual.

The mixture is 50:1. Everything else will destroy your motor. Mercury has a toll free number, call there in case you still have doubts.

Missing operators manual for Evinrude 2 hp outboard motor

Your best bet is ebay for a replacement user manual. Take a look around, you will come across one... For the meantime, gas oil ratio should be 50 parts gas to 1 part oil, i.e. 50:1. General care: Dont go full throttle for any length of time. Cruise of 3/4 throttle... Always flush engine after use in saltwater, including washing down exterior. Keep spark plugs in good order and check prop for fishing line wrapped around in near the prop hub. Otherwise, get a yearly service and have them check the water pump and replace as needed, get it tuned etc and gearbox oil changed.
