Put it on the blower and try to get it out backwards. Usually works

SOURCE: stuck sock

Don't put a hanger in there.... Call your local Aerus Service Center and they can remove it for you . If they tear the hose its their responsibility to replace it. If you tear it you are looking at $119.99tx at least.

SOURCE: Sock in hose???

just push a longer rod down the hose its the only way to get this out i bet its right at the hover end to and a wire hook may get at it from were the hose gos into the hover bag,(mine gets blocked up there every time)
i use a lenth of welding wire with a hook bent in it but a coat hanger would do if you straiten it out first then bend just the first inch of it so it fits inside the hose

Removing an obstruction in the vacuum's pipe system

Here are some methods you can try to remove that pesky sock:

Using a Coat Hanger:
Turn off your vacuum and unplug it for safety.
Straighten out a wire coat hanger, ensuring it has no sharp edges or points.
Carefully insert one end of the coat hanger into the vacuum hose.
Gently maneuver the coat hanger around, trying to hook onto the sock.
Once you have a good grip on the sock, slowly pull it out of the hose.
Remember to exercise caution to avoid damaging your vacuum cleaner or injuring yourself.

Vacuuming in Reverse:
Locate your vacuum cleaner's exhaust port.
Disconnect or detach any accessories from this port.
Attach your vacuum cleaner hose securely over this port.
Turn on your vacuum cleaner and let it run for several seconds.
The reverse airflow created may dislodge and push out the stubborn sock from within the hose.

Seek Professional Help:
If both methods fail, consider contacting a local appliance repair service or reaching out directly to the manufacturer of your specific model.
Trained professionals can offer expert advice or perform repairs if needed.
Remember to turn off the vacuum and unplug it before attempting any disassembly or cleaning.

There is a sock stuck in the hose of my dyson dc23 animal motorhead how do I get it out

Hi, this is Jim with Crucial Vacuum,

Detach the hose and stretch it out completely, if the sock is in a hard to reach place use a broom handle to push it out. Be careful to mind the edges of the hose you don't want to cause a tear, which would lead to poor suction.

You can purchase replacement parts for your Dyson DC23 direct from Crucial Vacuum with free shipping and an exclusive 10% coupon for Fixya.com readers, use code: FIXYA10

Was using vacuum and sock is now lodged in vacuum hose. How can I get the sock out?

The easiest way to remove an article of clothing from the hose is to remove one end of the hose from the vacuum, and reach in with a piece of wire with the end bent into a hook. A wire coathanger will work well for this. Just straighten out the coathanger, take a pair of pliers, and put a small bend at the end of the wire, in a J, or hook shape. Then, reach the wire into the hose, and when you feel the obstruction, twist the wire, so that the hook gets stuck on the sock. Then, pull it out, and reattatch the end of the hose back on the vacuum.
It doesn't matter which end of the hose you remove, just whichever is easier, and hopefully closest to the clog.

Do not try to push it out, as it will just bunch up tighter. It must be pulled out.

How to reassemble vacuum elbow tube with plastic insert?

If the plastic insert has come off then that is not normal. It should be all one piece to the hose. You might have a hose problem that needs replacing.

Blocked vacuum hose

You'll need a sturdy stick like a thick bamboo stick to push this out but remove the hose FIRST from the vacuum and compact the hose up before inserting the stick. Either that or you may have to order a new hose which can be cheap. What model is it you have?

I have a sock stuck in the hose of my vacuum cleaner. Rennaisance canister model. Because of the design of the handle I can't utilize the reverse blower. Please advise. Thanks

lol

Try taping a fishing hook or some such onto the end of a straightened out coat hanger. See if you can push it up the hose and hook the sock.

Or, remove the hose entirely, and push a broom handle down the hose.

That's all I got...
