Hi I have a LG LH-D6246 dvd /cd surround sound system but I lost the remote when I moved.There is no sound when playing a dvd or cd is there a setting I can change without the remote.Please help

Ensure that there are no conductive material's (metallic thread, fine wire such as shielding braid)near your Aux inputs that may be shorting your connections. You could also try using an emory board or fine sand paper, or even a pot scrubber on your inputs and RCA plugs in case it's just simply dirty and hampering the connectivity.

Hi I have the same tv. How is the video signal coming out of the dvd player and what is it plugged into on the tv. I travel for a living and coach my wife over the phone all the time.

I had a similar problem coming from South Africa to Australia and had to change the regional code setting.

Change to multizone format:

1)Ensure no disk in unit
2)Unplug unit from AC supply
3)Plug unit back into ac supply
4)Use remote control for the following commands:
5)Press the power key, the unit will come on
6)Wait until no disk appears on the display
7)Press sequentially the keys: PAUSE;3;1;4;1;5;9
8) "Code" will appear on the display
9)Press 0 (multizone)
10 Press sequentially the keys: PAUSE,POWER
11)The unit will turn off(standby mode), leaving the new regional code programmed. If you do not succeed at the first attempt disconnect the unit and repeat the above steps (1 to 10)

je kan met 2 tulp aansluitingen via de dvd speler audio out naar je tv gaan en dan de instelling aux van de dvd speler gebruiken zo kan je surround tv kijken

I dont know about a universal remote my friend but a remote is defo needed to ajust and alter sound settings , I have the same system and it can not be done with the reciever alone. The AUX button on the remote has to be activated to get sound thru LG speakers providing your game console is connected to your TV, then a set of audio cables from your TV via the (OUT) ports (this is a must) back into you LG reciever.
