normally one on the cpu then two in the case front and back. sometimes they have a tube or funnel over the cpu with a fan. Others have liquid tubing to keep cpu cool.

Usually it will in summer. Take your processor fan out and apply some processor coolant paste in it and clean your fan and heat sink. You are there. Sound minimised. Pls vote if you like this
Thats your system restarting every small minute then the problem lies on your processor or probably your processor fan that is blowing air to your processor stops working and that can cause it not be ok after a short time it will be over heated and have to cut off and restart again
what you will have to do is to change the processor fan or probably add a cooling paste on the processor cooling sink or if that persist change the processor.
It could be a fan motor growling, isolate the sound from freezer or refrig or the back. or during some refrigeration cycles the freon surging can also sound like water gushing or growling usually at start up though. The fans can be vibrating, hitting or going fast to slow dc motors.
The fan/heat sink on these models get plugged with dust very easily, use an air compressor or can of air to blow the dust out of the heat sink and fan. In extreme cases the thermal paste gets dried out and needs to be re-applied to properly cool the processor.
Hi, the strips sound ike thermal strips.
Install the processor, apply the strips onto it just wide enough to cover the centre of the unit and then install the heatsink and fan on to that. Regards mistyman
the speed of the fan is done by the motherboard, the harder the procesor is working the faster the fan speeds are.
There probably was thermal paste between the processor and heatsink but some may have dissipated.
If you are applying paste on, put a very thin layer, as too much can be as bad as not enough.
clean the fan off of any dust and the heatsink and ensure that there is plenty of room in pc for air circulation.
