I assume you have a laptop since KB and MOUSE are usually auto enabled by the BIOS on PCs at boot time and by OS after boot. You should be able to re-enable EXTERNAL KB & M in the BIOS (press DEL or F1 usually on power up) look for "enable legacy keyboard & mouse" in the menu system.

How to unlock a mouse on a laptop

On the top of your keyboard there should be F keys like F1,F2 etc.
Every F key has a little picture. When you see a touchpad picture press Fn+F5. According to my Laptop. For example if your touchpad picture is at F6 then you would press Fn+F6.The Fn key should be located near the ctrl keys. If this does not work then try the following steps:-

1 Click the Windows "Start" button in the bottom-left corner of your desktop. Scroll up and click "Control Panel."

2 Choose the "Mouse" icon or type "Mouse" in the field in the upper-right corner. Click the "Enter" button and then click the "Mouse" link.

3 Press the "Hardware" tab or the tab to the right of it that specifies the type of touch pad you have. If you are under the "Hardware" tab, highlight the touch pad in the list of devices and click the "Enable" button. If you are under the touch pad tab, click the enable button.

4 Click the "Apply" button and then click the "OK" button.
