My washing machine is turning 1 turn left than stop,turn 1 turn right and stop,when spinning : start and stop every few seconds.

This is probably a motor/board issue if you want to supply make/model number I can advise on how to test the motor with a multimeter

Washer will not shift into the spin/drain mode. Aggetator works fine.

If its not spinning or draining maby the motor is to shot to to handle it any more. Again I would not know as I work with small engines.Is the wig wag controlled by a motor or belt. maby thats bad.

this could be the pump what you need to do is make sure the machine is off and down on the right hand side bottom of the machine there is a round cap clip it down then you should be looking at the pump turn slowly make sure you have a towel down there could be loads or some water coming out DONT undo it quickly OK very slowly until all water is gone then you can pull it out after turning it to pull it out if its all clear then you could have a motor problem but do the pump first OK let me know if this work OK don't for get to put the pump screw back tight OK

Washer is won't spin

Hi just read your posting.Now from the information in your posting the machine is not draining.Is this correct?Now what I need you to do is to 1st remove all the clothes from the machine and bail out the water by hand with a small pot or bucket.Only bail enough water so it does not leak out when you lean it back against the wall.Now I need you to look under the machine ,Hence the reason for bailing some of the water out, and tell if your pump is the type with a red or black fan attached to it.The pump is located under the machine to the front right.If you have this type of pump turn the fan with your hand clockwise a few times then anticlockwise a few times.This is to loosen it up if the pump is blocked.If the pump frees up and you can turn the fan easily then put the machine back upright and select a spin cycle and push the start button.Please reply and and tell me how you got on or if your pump is the one without the fan,also reply back if it does not drain and you require more help.

is the machine draining correctly?
the machine will oftin stop if not doing so.
you can try cleaning out the coin trap/drain pump hose.

Hoover AM1100 Washing machine, wont final spin.

The noise, is it a grinding noisy like worn bearings?

put the washer on drain only - is the pump working ok, take the filter out to see if it is turning ok, does that make a strange noise?

If the pump is fine, its back to that noise, it could be be a faulty tacho on the motor ( regulates the spin speed) or motor bearings - has the motor spindle a lot of play on it?

Not draining..agitator making a grinding type of

The bad news is with the combination of not draining and the grinding it is undoubtedly the drain pump. The good news is they are not difficult to replace. Let me know if you need any info on replacing it yourself and I'll try to give you the steps needed.

Maytag Atlantis 7700 - Noisy agitation/wash cycle from motor

Your drive motor may be fine. Check the water pump that is located in the back behind the small metal door on the left bottom corner and see if thats where your noise/water is coming from. These extraction pumps have bearings casing that gets mangled and locked up. Look right above the flywheel that the belt rides on in the W-pump.

Washer stopped working

To help you with this problem I need you to do something. Place the machine in spin cycle and see if it will pump the water out. Also, lift the lid and look at the back. There should be a model/serial number plate. This information would help.

I do not believe the motor is at fault. I suspect a bad motor coupler. If the machine willpump the water out then I am Sure.
