A bolt won't tighten all the way just keeps spinning, but it also won't unscrew out of the wall. What should I do to get this bolt out without stripping the thing?

I took off all of the towel bars and toilet paper holders, etc to paint my bathroom and when I went to put the towel holder back on one side was not tight. So I took the bar off and was going to tighten the bolt in tighter or replace the bolt with a new one and it won't come out and when it's "in" and flush to the wall it just spins and won't tighten up. What should I do to get this bolt out? Should I just force it out with the back side of the hammer?

Yes just pull it out - it will pull out the anchor on the screw, then replace it with a new larger anchor and screw. or fill the hole and re drill a new hole the right size.

My diesel ditch witch sometimes won't start and sometimes stalls when it won't start safety lights will not come on

Unscrew the four bolts surrounding the cover to the gear shifting knob. (mine actually broke the plastic cover (tab holes) while undoing the bolts.)

Lift up cover... (even partially, don't have to remove from shifter) and behind gear shift is a switch that can become loose! tighten nut on switch to bring it back into position -- e voila!

I can't keep the tension on the blade tight. After a short period of use it loosens up and won't stay on the bar.

Check threads on tension bolt may be worn or adjuster threads that bolt screws into may b worn. Odd thing is if bar plate is tight bar should not move.

I have removed the piece requiring the hex tool. However, I can't get the base off the wall. How can I remove it?

The base is probably connected to wall with toggle bolts, thus meaning , as you try to unscrew the bolts that keep spinning, pull on the bracket away from wall as you unscrew the bolts and it will come off.

The first thing to check here is by opening up the top of your washer. Plug off the mains. Check to see the wires are connected to the inlet valve at the point where the water enters your machine, tighten the wires. Then shut off the wall faucet, unscrew the hoses, check the fine mesh at the machine valve entrance, clean out. Refit the hoses carefully without cross threading, open the wall faucet full to check for leaks; advisable to keep faucet fully open. Check to see that there is no leak at the dispenser end of the pipes. You are done now, try the machine (with the top open, caution)

If there is still no water, just change the inlet water valve, you can do it yourself.

Problem installing new toilet bolt covers.

unthread the nut as far as possible, then tighten it one full turn. Cut off the top with a hacksaw or dremel grinder and re-try. The bolts are cheap. A small jewelers file may help. Look for the damaged thread and remove the burr.

Removing bolt in agitator arm

The bolt unscrews counterclockwise. Hold the agitator by the bottom vanes. If it won',t budge try tightening it first, just a little to break it free.

Possible your belt is loose; you have to unscrew the back after disconnecting electrical connection from wall socket. If the belt "gives" more than half an inch, you have to loosen the motor bolts and push motor upwards, then tighten the bolts very well. Try spin only to check, before closing the behind. It shd spin very fast.
Let me know if it worked..
