BT will not supply us with the admin password in order to change the time and extensions as we do not have a maintenance contract with them (ridiculous after purchasing the system!!)x4 line extensions
Does anyone know how to reset the Admin password?? Any advice will be most welcome, thanking you in advance.
Thank you very much for your help. Unfortunately the default passwords are not relevant as BT hold a specific password for our company but will not advise unless we take out maintenance. I am trying my upmost to override their code but unsuccessful in doing so thus far.

Try pressing the FEATURE button then, **266344. On some Norstar phone systems there is also an Admin level of programming that is useful if you only need to change the names or the time. To access Admin programming, press Feature**23646(spells admin on the dial pad). Then 23646 for password.
Feature 983 log in is 120000 (if 2 digit extension, 1020000 if 3 digit, 10020000 if 4 digit extensions) Select Mbox, enter that locked extensions mail box number, You will see password RESET. Select RESET. Release out. This will reset that mail box password to 0000. Use feature 981 on that phone and enter the new default password of 0000. you will then be prompted to change the password. So in other words, try 1020000, 10020000, 120000

Sounds like the password was changed somehow.
to reset the administrator pasword enter feature 985 press 9, at the password prompt enter 73738767793 (resetsmpwsd) and press ok or #,press yes to reset password. password should be defaulted to 0000. then try Feature 983. if your system has 2 digit intercom #s your password is 120000.
How do I reset a password on a Norstar Voice Mail mailbox?
Press Feature 983.
Enter the System Coordinator's Mailbox number (default is 12, 102, 1002,
depending on length of extension numbers) followed by Password (default 0000).
Press MBOX.
Press CHNG.
Enter the mailbox number that is giving you troubles.
Press RESET. The password has been reset to default (0000). Good Luck.
You can go to any T7316e phone and do this , press feature 983 when you see log on the screen enter 102 0000 to log on with or 12 0000 this is the default admin password for the voice mail system . it depends if you have a 3digit extension of 2 digit . when you get in you will see three options on the screen above the three buttons , from left to right it will be mbox aa and other press the mbox button then it will give you three more options again from left to right they will be add delete and change press change , it will ask for the extension number , enter the number of your extension . the thing it will ask you is if you want to reset the password , press yes and the press the the red rels button your password is now reset to 0000 . good luck .
System Admin access is available from any 7310 or higher model phone. You need a password and overlay..or a picture of what the buttons do in programming.
