System is activated on five ps3's already...

Esteban, you have to have the app downloaded to your system, then when you turn it on, it will give you a code to enter at youtube.com. You must have an active account on youtube to be able to activate it on your system. I am including the link to the activation code page in youtube.
Sign in Google Accounts

You must activate your system first. Here are the steps.
1 power on
2 log into the system
3 sign in to psn
4 Account Management
5 System Activation
6 PS3 System
7 Games and videos
Remember, SCEA only allows (2) systems to be activated under the same account. So even if you had 3 systems in your house, you can only activate 2. After your system is activated, then you can enjoy your new maps. ^^ P.S. As of this writing, "DEVASTATION" will be released for the PS3 TOMORROW!

1) Please visit the SEN website (below) and login with your PSN credentials

2) On the Home tab (which will load after login) you should see devices and activation in the top left (below the Home icon). Click "Playstation Systems" here.
3) If you see the message "You have reached the maximum number of PlayStation 3 Systems for Video (1)." you may have to contact Sony directly, but first deactivating and reactivating is worth a shot (do not worry, unless you are trying to scam the system there is no reason deactivating and reactivating a legitimate device should cause an issue). Skip to Step 5 if this is the case. Continue to Step 4 if no PS3 system is present.
4) If no PS3 system is showing in this list, click "Activate a Playstation System" and follow the steps listed there on your PS3.
5) If it is in fact showing a PS3 system and you either have the message that you have the max systems for video or no messages at all, then click the icon that looks like a PS3, this system may have a nickname assigned by you, if not it will be labeled "My PS3 System" as that is the default.
6) Click "Deactivate" and follow the steps if any, then click "Return to Devices" if applicable (if you are already on the devices screen now, please disregard.
7) Click "Activate a Playstation System" and follow the steps there on your PS3.
8) If your PS3 system is still not allowing you to view videos, music, or stream, then look at the bottom right for the small text "customer support" beneath "help". Click "customer support".
9) Click the "Contact Us" tab in the right middle of the screen.
10) Scroll to the bottom and choose to either contact via phone or email. Describe the problem you are having activating your PS3 for video and they should be able to manually reset the activations and allow you to activate your PS3 system once and for all.

If you've already signed up, go to the top of the EpixHD website, click "me", then "devices". Click PS3 and your code should appear.

Unfortunately, after the firmware version 3.01 PSN limited the activated accounts to only 3 systems. That sucks i know, but they are trying to discourage hackers, and that is the only reason they did it. I never heard of activating one without deactivating the other. But you should be able to go to PSN customer support and let them know, and sometimes they can help. Does your old system freeze on that screen when you first turn it on? You can do a manual update from a usb memory card with the firmware downloaded from PSN. I hope this helps. Good luck.

remember this always
1 activation for video 5 activations for game
after this you will need to send a system in for service in order to get a deactivation in the future

You have to start up Netflix on the PS3 and when it prompts you for the activation code you go on a computer to : Netflix.com/PS3
put in your account information if not already entered and it should provide you with an activation code.

There is already a solution by a User :-

Got home, downloaded flow on the new PS3 and tried to play, just before the game launches, the screen returns to XMB with this error: "There is an error During Startup (80010017)"... But I did Active my new PS3... So I went back into Account Management ([Friends] [Account Management]), de-activated and activated again, PROBLEM RESOVLED. Seems like the machine isn't happy with activation before download, I guess.
