Brushes won't spin anymore

There is a spring that goes on an arm, #32 in the picture. It actuates the turbine so the brushes will turn when the handle is tilted back, and stopped when upright. This might be where that spring goes. You may have to take the top cover off to put in on. After you get it on, and the brushes still don't turn, look up in the square hole where the shaft on the brush block goes into, turn the unit on and see if it is turning, if not then the turbine either needs to be taken apart and cleaned or replaced. The turbine is what drives the brushes.

The silver tool catch button and spring popped off of my dc25 wand assemby. the catch button does not look broken, but i can not figure out how to load the spring and button back on the wand.

There should be a spot for the spring on the latch and a spot for the spring to sit on the actual wand. It should be held by two tabs on each side. Really they just pop on and off.

Replace belt genesis upright

Turn vacuum upside down on flat surface, remove the 6-7 screws from the bottom of the power nozzle, lay it on it's side and pry on the two accessible internal tabs to pop top cap of the nozzle off to access the pn motor assembly. Lay flat on it's back again and remove the screws that hold the roller brush in, remove the roller brush, remove old belt, install new belt on brush roll and pn motor geared spindle, push brush roll back in place, replace screws and pn top and VOILA!..you're back in bidness! Hop that helps!

I have an F7427-900 but try taking a flat headed screw driver to the black plastic on the front. I gently tried it on mine and it popped up no problem.

I have a riccar vibrance red vacuum, just purchased with in 6 months and the roller brush wont go on and the reset button doesn't seem to push in or work I now live in Hankinson, ND 58041...there is a...

The reset button only pops out if the vacuum motor overheats. It does not affect the brush roll. If the motor is running the problem is most likely a broken or stretched belt.

Brush roll won't turn on for the shark NV22L vacuum. the light on the brush roll is dark, not red or green

Atthe bottom of the vacuuam are screws to take off...two of them are near the rear wheel assembly....two of them are behind the front mini wheels (just pry the front mini wheels so that they pop out...they pop back in)
Remove all of the screws. Remove the bottom from the top..they come apart in two pieces. Ceck the belt on the bottom piece. Slide the roller out starting from the end opposite from the motor end. With the roller off, slacken the the belt so that it misses the gear on the motor (you will have to hold it with your hand). Plug in the vacuum. Turn the power on to the roller on position. The motor should work and the green light should be on. If the motor doesn't work, then it is defective. If it does work, turn off, unplug and shoot the gear and the two ends of the roller with WD-40. reassemble. good luck.

Kenmore vacuum model 25614 power mate will not reset

What you see from the outside is usually a pop up button which sits on top of the actual internal switch remove the lid of the power mate as though you are cleaning the brush roll or changing the belt. Then test the reset internally. Post back to advise .

Dyson DC-07 Hose Wand Spring Came Out. How to put back in?

You'll see that there is a round piece with a cross shape on the inside of the button wand release button - place the end of the spring over the cross - you'll see the same cross on the collar of the machine...it'll take some doing, but line the other end of the spring up with the cross and pop the button back into place - be sure to click it onto those two gray circular/oval shaped divets at the bottom where the release button connects to so that the button stays in place.
