We had a paper jam in the print engine area. Once the paper path has been cleared we are still receiving clear misfed paper in print engine. I have fed paper through the path and cannot find any paper jam.

If your Xerox WC 4150 is displaying "Clear the Jam in the Print Area" you should check and possibly replace the fuser exit actuator (part# 120N00534). Iteminc.com has this part in stock and ships same day. Here is a video the shows you how to check and replace the fuser exit actuator. Good luck, and thanks for using FixYa!

IF I HAVE A MOTOR WITH STAR DELTA WINDING AND NO LABELING IS DONE HOW WILL I CONNECT THE CABLES TO THE MOTOR

the motor will have 3 pairs that can be checked with a ohm meter for continuity. each pair has a start and a finish. usually it would be labelled U1 V1 & W1 for the start and U2 V2 & W2 for the end or finish.

To connect in star ( Motors that start with direct load ) supply cables to U1 ( Red ) V1 ( White ) W1 ( blue ) and bridge out U2 V2 & W2.

To connect in delta Supply cables as above. Bridge U2 to V1 - Bridge V2 to W1 - Bridge W2 to U1.

If you have a reversed winding the motor will growl and not turn.
To reverse direction of rotation swap any 2 supply cables ( But only when the power is OFF )

I had a paper jam.I cleared the jam. the misfed light is still blinking. doese this model have areset botton?

There is no reset button or switch. The reset is performed by opening and closing the right side door. Make sure there is not a sheet of paper just starting out of the tray. Also check the fuser gate. Sometimes these break. The rear side of the gate has a small tab that blocks a sensor. If the gate is out of position it will show a jam all the time. Just make sure the rear side tab is "in" the sensor housing. The gate looks like this:

Good Luck and Thank You for using Fixya.

Canon pixma MP620 paper jam

Hello! I have solved your problem! The first thing you need to do is extend the back paper holder all the way up. This should uncover a long rectangular hole. There is a plastic piece with 2 arrows pointing to the right on it (if you are looking at the back straight on). Simply push them to the Right and it will pop up on the Left side. You can now lift that piece out and VOILA there is your misfed paper! Just reinsert the rectangular piece back in after you have taken the misfed paper out! -Gary Maples

Display says "Remove misfed Paper info. code =184

Hi Alara,
Check that the printer is actually trying to pick up the paper. The printer tries to pick up paper but couldn't. It thinks there is something preventing the paper from getting into the input paper registration detector.

Misfeed error

1. Check that absolutely no paper is jammed within the infeed paper sensors. Sometimes a tiny piece of paper will get stuck in the sensor after a jammed sheet has been forcibly removed.
2. Use a can of Dust-Off or similar compressed air product to blow the paper path out. Paper lint can block a sensor.
