Before getting the HDMI port repaired, I would suggest trying a new cable and also make sure that it's the HDMI port on the TV that's bad and not whatever is connected to that port. Try a different DVD player or something... Do you have a different HDMI input on the TV you can use?

Make sure that the color control level is set to the default or 50% to start with. This should be in the Video menu.

The colour for the tuner and for the encoded base-band video uses a circuit area called the colour demodulator. It is possible that this cirucuit area has failed and needs servicing.

SOURCE: red tinge on tv screen when laptop plugged through HDMI

Neo2123 is correct.

The HDMI output is setup as a second disply, not Primary disply.
You will need to get into the video Driver settings and configure this for a single monitor.

1. Right click on the desktop
2. select "graphics properties"
3. set up the "Digital Display"

All the steps or naming may be different on you computer, but some of this is fiarly standard.

Only get pink/red vertical bars on Samsung UN55B6000VF tv, colors change when pushing buttons on remote. Is this a bad main board?

The connection for the HDMI that connects to the cable box for the TV is having pink and purple lines to show p on your TVs screen. Make sure that both the sides of the HDMI cable are plugged in fully and are secure enough. Remove the power cord from the TV and from the wall for about an hour. If the problem still is there then the screen is not working anymore on your TV.

Does the Samsung PN58B650 need a minute to warm up the first time you turn it on every day? When I turn on the TV for the first time every day, the picture is there but the colors on the screen are pink...

I swapped out the HDMI cable with standard component cables. The picture and sound is perfect. Later I will swap again with a different HDMI cable to confirm if the problem is a bad cable or if the TV has a problem with HDMI.

Moniter colour gone pink

Cables do periodically go bad. But If I were you I'd be more worried about a bent/broken pins on the end of the cable. Take a flashlight and shine it on the pins on both end of the cable to see if they have any bent/ broken pins. If you do see a broken pin you will want to check the connectors on both monitors to make sure you don't have a broken connector pin stuck in them. Also  If the broken pins are stuck in the monitors I'd reccomend going to an electronics repair shop to have them fix it for a low price, But this is a worst case scenario. I'd bet its just a bad cable, or the cable just went bad.
If you don't see any signs of broken pins, then I'd reccomend getting a new cable and a higher quality/heavier duty one.
If its a "VGA"(analog) cable with blue connectors, I would reccomend upgrading to a HDMI or DV(Digital format) I cable if possible. And if thats not doable and you must use VGA for some reason I'd reccomend getting a heavier duty cable from an online shopping site like newegg.com. I personally just got a Rosewill VGA cable and it works perfectly for me. Just make sure you get the correct female-female connector types and also make sure its the appropriate distance. And remember if your getting a VGA(analog cable) the shorter or less cable you need the better, since analog cables degrade over larger distances.

Compatibility with Samsung LCD Display

It sounds like the HDMI port on the back of your Marantz is damaged. if you know for sure that the HDMI port works on another tv still you might just use component connection because the visible difference between component and HDMI is not very recognizable.

NO sound on HDMI3 port and when playing Blu-Ray DVD's the screen is pink

Go to the samsung website, and find out how to upgrade the firmware for your TV. You will probably need a portable usb memory stick to do so (if your TV is equipped with one). HDMI is an evolving technology, and firmware upgrades can resolve many of these quirky issues.

Here's a possibility from http://www.samsung.com/us/support/faqs/supportFaqList.do?group=&type=&subtype=&model_nm=LN-S4696D&dType=D&mType=UM&vType=R&prd_ia_cd=02010100&acc_ia_fl=&disp_nm=LN-S4696D
Which Samsung LCD TVs Have The HDMI 1.3 Interface? spacer.gif Of the LN-T series Samsung LCD TVs, those models whose last two digits are 61, 65, 66, 69, 71, or 81 (for example, LN-T4071F or LN-T466F) have the HDMI 1.3 interface.
Samsung LCD TVs with HDMI 1.3 interfaces also have HDMI-CEC (HDMI - Consumer Electronics Control). For information about CEC, click HERE.
For information about individual Samsung LCD TVs with HDMI 1.3 interfaces and HDMI-CEC, click HERE. When the Samsung LCD TV web page appears, select the TV model you want information about by clicking the drop down list under Product Finder on the left side of the page.
Though other series of Samsung LCD TVs (LN-R, LN-S, etc.) have HDMI connections, none have models with the HDMI 1.3 interface.
