Hi,my LG smart TV has fine horizontal lines and the screen flashes from blurry to clear also an icon randomly appears that says a new component has been connected.

LG LED smart TV model number 50LN5700-UH. I improperly removed a USB device,several times,from the TV and believe this is the cause of my problems.I reset the TV to factory settings,tried removing all components and antenna.The problem still exist regardless of what I tried.Did I damaged a board and if so is it possible to tell me which one.

LG 65LS5700 horizontal lines fix?

The cable is either bad or the cable has not been securely full connected to the input and the output ports can have loose connections and can cause the signal and have horizontal or vertical lines to show up on the TVs screen. The cable will need replacement.

The horizontal lines that are showing up on your TV's screen is caused by either a bad cable or a cable that is not correctly fastened to the input and the output ports for the TV and it can cause interference then and the signal and cause horizontal or vertical lines to appear. It could also be the TV"s screen is no longer working and needs to be replaced.

I have a LG 60ls5750 television. On startup it works great, and then a minute later the picture feed is replaced with colored horizontal lines. Hate to scrap it as the rest of the TV seems solid.

LG 55LW5700 - Trying to determine if its a t-con board issue.

Your LG has a problem on Main board controller. The main board has a graphics driver that give full cycle image going to t-con. Fixing this required main board replacement or repair. Look for a service technician.

You can spend $300 to $500 fixing this or just do the best thing most cost effective thing and replace the TV.

Hi.. Mine is a sansui tv and I bought it 3 years back. Now it is showing a horizontal line on the screen. Sound is fine but I can't see the picture, I just see one white horizontal line on tv...

The problem is vertical failure. Vertical output section to your TV ahs the fault. You ahve to check the vertcial output circuit for any component failure or loose solderings.
