Unlock SD memory card protection
There is a Lock switch on the left side of the SD card. Make sure the Lock switch is slid up (unlock position). You will not be able to modify or delete the contents on the memory card if it is locked

it seems that your camera is still on internal memory, if your camera was off when you inserted your sd card, ( it needs to be off when inserting it) it should automatically switch over to the sd card.
I'm not sure with yours, but with mine( I have an older version ) I can go into settings & switch it back & forth from internal memory & sd card.

If you're using an SD card, it doesn't have a reset switch. It does have a switch to lock (protect) and unlock the card. It should be in the unlocked position.
