I'd like to get at the circuit board to remove the speaker on this coffee maker, but don't know how to get to it. The board appears to be in the upper right, but I can't figure out how to get the front side panels off without breaking them. Any ideas?
Yes! My PST x91 has no display but otherwise works. After practically destroying it I found the secret to be two screws.
So from the underside of the coffee feed remove the three screws and the plate with the rubber bumper around most of it. Then you'll see the two holes of the inside of the fancy chrome columns that don't do anything.
On the bottom of those holes are the two screws mentioned above. On mine, they were so corroded I didn't even know they were screws. A screwdriver broke off pieces of the screws and I ended up drilling them out. Did some damage to the plastic but finally got the screw heads small enough to go through the holes.
Then you can pull out the chrome column piece and slide forward the dome piece. Then you'll see two screws. Remove them and the Mr Coffee piece will swivel out and release at the top. Then remove the two screws holding the front display panel and slide the panel up and out. That's all. If you need to get further inside, remove screws and other panels and slide to release as well. For me, I think I need a new coffee maker.
I could not find a lot of info for you

Testimonial: "Thanks. Unfortunately the first video doesn't actually show how he got the side panel off (not sure it would be the same on my coffee maker anyway, but would have been nice to see how he did it). The second one I did see before, but I'd like to keep it in one piece. :-)"

Same here. I have a lot of screws removed and have used a fair amount of muscle, but no joy in getting at the beeper... It must die!
Any luck by chance? I just spent an hour and a half unscrewing everything I could find while pulling every different direction on this thing and I can’t figure out how to get access to that speaker
Has anyone found a way to open the PSTX91?
Hi guys, any luck on this? I have removed every visible screw and a few hidden ones as well but I still can get it opened. Has anyone successfully opened this model?
