Question about LG L1930B 19" LCD Monitor
Working on line. Monitor suddenly goes black. The green button is flashing - and nothing else I do works. Have disconnected and reconnected all cables. Yet screen still black and green light still blinking. Pressing the other buttons does nothing. Seems as if it is in permanent sleep mode. I changed nothing. I do not know enough about computers to change things. Working and then - bam ! black screen.
Is this monitor and LCD flat Panel? If so this is due to a bad power supply, an inverter board going bad or LCD backlight bulb blown. When the backlight goes bad it gets just enough power to start up, but when it is on for a long period of time it goes black because the bulb is not stable enough to hold the charge because it is going bad. These bulbs can be changed, but they also can be costly!
