Can't take pictures with flash set

You have to wait 5 or 10 seconds before a flash picture will shoot, because it takes some time for the capacitors to charge up. If the batteries are bad, it may never allow a flash picture to be ready to take.

I have a Canon Power Shot A720. Outdoor photos are beautiful. Indoor photos are always grainy/blurry...a lot of noise. I have tried the ISP feature but there are only two choices... 1. Auto or 2....

Hi Usually outdoor picture are good within small compact camera. They designed like that. But now your unit just have flash pcb defective. When flash function work, your picture will be good indoor. Regarding your flash unit would be brown fuse or replacement of flash unit. It is 50 and 50 chance. Your local repair shop would charge around $35 to 95 depend on what they really want to charge. Thanks and best regard!

No flash when taking photos with the dc-2030p.Just placed in new batteries and it is taking photos just images are all dark as no flash even tough it is showing flash is on.

If it shows the flash is on but it doesn't flash, check that you are allowing the internal capacitor to charge up by depressing the button for taking pictures halfway until the capacitor charges up. If it still doesn't flash the camera may need service at Agfa.com.

http://www.agfa.com/gs/en/internet/gs/about_us/worldwide/north_america/usa.jsp?title=%2Fgs%2Fen%2Finternet%2Fgs%2Fabout_us%2Fworldwide%2Fnorth_america%2Fusa.jsp&support=on&filter=true

I'm assuming you're in the USA for the above telephone number.

Good luck on repairing this problem on your Agfa camera.

NIKON Coolplix S210 can't take photo in flash mode

If the flash is on and you can't take photos, it could be that the flash circuit has gone bad. Make sure the camera is focused first though, before you try to take the pictures. Many times if the camera can't focus on something, it wont take a picture.

Camera will not take pictures when the flash is on

You may have a weak battery. If the flash doesn't have enough power, it will continue to try to recharge thus preventing you from taking a picture. Turning it off allows the pic to be taken.

Flash won't work.it's red on the display and won't take photos.

Your camera has a bad flash unit. If the flash goes bad the camera can not take a picture because the flash will not trigger off.

Flash busy signal

This is perfectly normal, the flash uses short burst of electricity that are stored in a large state capacitor. This has to be recharged after so many pictures. You can go as fast as the SD card will allow even if the flash is charging, simply close the flash and continue taking photos without it, no effect apart from loss of some illumination depending on the conditions.
