My Toshiba 62hm195 DLP HDTV's HDMI ports have been losing sound intermittently. Both HDMI ports while connected to multiple devices (HDTV cable box, Panasonic Streaming Player) lose sound intermittently...

Your problem is in the streaming player. It is not keeping up and when an HDMI loses connection it will not auto find it again. To verify this take the Panasonic out of the loop and see if this fixes it. I love HDMI but it is touchy

My tv model magnavox26mf231d/37 shows hdmi is disabled and the hdcp authorization failure.

This could be a problem with the cable box or other set top box and not the TV. It's known to happen with Samsung cable boxes from Cablevision.

First try resetting the TV and set top box by unplugging both. Remove the HDMI cable from the TV and the set top box. Reconnect the HDMI cable. If you are using a Redmere or similar HDMI cable, make sure that the end labeled TV is connected to the TV's HDMI port. (These cables have additional electronics and are not reversible.) Connect the power cord to the set top box and wait 30 seconds to a minute. Then plug in the TV. To ensure the set top box does the correct handshake with the TV, turn on the TV first and set it to the HDMI input. Then turn on the set top box. See if this fixes the issue. (On some cable boxes, this can be a temporary fix. You may need to have the set top box replaced.)

If the above steps don't help, try a different HDMI cable. If that doesn't solve the problem, then the set top box is faulty.

I hope this helps.

Soundbar fadding

Try other HDMI inputs as the HDMI#1 may be defective. If the same happens on HDMI#2 or3, then Change the HDMI Cable. If that fails, the SoundBar is a problem.

I PURCHASED A 50' HDTV ON MARCH 17, 2010 FROM WALMART. THE PROBLEM THAT ALL THE MOVIES I TRY TO PREVIEW ONLY SHOW IN BLACK AND WHITE. I HAVE TRIED CHANGING THE AV JACKS AND I HAVE CONNECTED A DIFFERENT DVD...

If you are not doing so allready, try linking the DVD player to TV with a HDMI cable, if you are allready doing this, try another HDMI input, and/or try another HDMI cable, I have had HDMI cables fail on me before!
It sounds like to me that you are useing component video cables to link the two right now and that you have the wrong color cable in the wrong jack on the back of the TV or DVD player, I still recommend a HDMI cable over the component video cables!
If all I am requesting isn't right or working then you may have a bad TV, it happens occasionally!
Good Luck !
