if you have the reciept you may be able to send it into microsoft and get it replaced/fixed.

only if you have a save before the last quest. just load it up.

It's a Sony defect with the blu-ray lasers. They only last 1-3 years with average use. If your PS3 is less than a year old and you still have the original receipt Sony will repair the problem for free. Otherwise they're going to charge you $150 for the repair. You can reach them at: 1-800-345-SONY

Unless you have a technical background in electronics there's nothing I would suggest doing. A firmware update and or CD /DVD cleaner disk will do nothing for your problem. I've fixed more than 100 PS3's with this exact problem so I know exactly what I'm talking about.

If you're just out of warranty by a few days sometimes Sony will do a courtesy repair. It doesn't hurt to ask.

maybe you should try different games? see if those different games freeze, if so, then it might be your blu-ray player in your ps3, or your ps3 might be overheating. my games froze at certain points because my ps3 was overheating, just try a few different games

Delete The Update File From Game Data Utility And Redownload It Works Fine After. But Online Mode Does Not Work Anymore...

Get a cd cleaning cd and run in on the PS2 will work fine then
the ps2 just cant find the menu in diffrent spot
just use the cd cleaning disc and all shall b fine
