SOURCE: my duravit toilet keeps running

I too have had this problem. No matter how i change the settings ..sooner or later the toilet starts to flow continually getting worse and worse. I have had plummers and friends etc see if they can make it stop and it is no better. I am very disapointed with it and will never ever buy Duravit again. I tried contacting them for help and got nowhere. Bad design. Waste of money.. I should have stuck with the old ball-**** system at B&Q.

SOURCE: toilet bowl gurgles after flushing cycle

Sounds like your toilet is not vented properly. Possilbly something caught in the trap is causing it to syphon

SOURCE: water continually running into my toilet bowl.

IF YOU PRESS UR BALLCOCK DOWN IN THE CISTERN YOU WILL STOP THE WATER DRIBBLING IN THE TOILET ,JUST VERY SLIGHTLY BEND THE METAL BAR IN THE MIDDLE AND IT WILL STAY DRIP FREE,OR PUT A LITTLE WEIGHT ON THE METAL BAR NEAR THE BALLCOCK...ROB

SOURCE: OUr 5 yr old duravit toilet is constantly running.

if you can see the water running in the bowl it's a good chance that the flappers warn http://www.aplumbers.com/residential/toilet
1. tank the tank lid off.2. flush the rubber thing that comes up and allows the water to go to the bowl is the flapper 3. remove 4. replace that should fix it.
problem 2
1. tank tank lid off.2. if the waters flowing over the long tube in the center and down then the water level is too high3. adjust the level either it will have a ball **** or a float in either case   a ball **** adjusts by a screw on the fill valve. the float has a either a metal rod w/ a pinch clamp or a plastic long screw type thing.4. adjust water level .5. barely lift handle to allow a little water out til fill valve kicks on then release handle til valve stops .6. just keep re adjusting til you get the water level right there should be a molded in line for the level on the back of the tank.

Adjust the water level in the bowl of a duravit toilet

You can't. Water level is set by the design of the trap built into the ceramic base. Can only adjust height of water in the tank.

How to change water level ?

The level is determined by a floating device connected to the water valve. Some are on an angled arm and some move up and down.
Determine how your valve is shut off and either change the big round float or adjust the clips on the rising one.
Just keep the level below the overflow and the flush handle to avoid a running toilet or a leak.

I have a new Kohler Toilet that has a different flushing system from other Toilets. It's about 1 year old now and I'm noticing a Drip noise on the 1st floor under this Toilet. It looks to me like the water...

Basically, if water is flowing out of the overflow tube, then water must be coming in...I would suggest that you check the intake valve, it is probably not shutting off completely when the float comes up to the prescribed level, and continues to leak some water into the tank. That is what the overflow tube is there for.

My toilet is a duravit 1930 series model with Euro style push flusher rather than handle. Internal flushing mechanism is not traditional float ball. toilet water constantly leaks from tank into bowl...

A fairly easy ( but messy ) fix - get a replacement tank to bowl gasket and bolt kit, shut off water supply, drain tank, remove bolts ( you might have to cut, depending on your water source and minerals in your water). Remove old gasket and clean surface with 00 grade steel wool. Replace gasket, install new bolts, remount tank.
Good luck!!

Toto Drake with Gmax that oesn't completely shut off.

When you look in the bowl of the toilet, do you see the water trickling? If so then the flapper needs to be replaced.

Also, does the water run intermitentedly? As in every 2 to 5 minutes does the water kick back on to refil the tank? If yes then the answer is yet again the flapper.

Now if the water is constantly running then you can try bending the float arm (the ron that is connected to the big floating ball) down and see if that helps. If not then the next step is to replace the fill valve assembly.

Both of these together will run you about $20-$30.
