when you are in safemode as administrator you can go to the user section and reset your husbands password. make sure that your caps lock and your numlock is not on. good luck

Boot into safe mode by spamming the "F8" button "after" you see your VAIO splash screen. You will be presented with a few options, select "safe mode".
When windows loads, you should now have access to your hidden Admin account. I have seen this account password protected and not protected, hit and miss. I would first try leaving the password field blank, then move onto passwords you know.
You can also remove the hard drive and install it into a desktop computer as a slave (extra storage). This will gain you access to all your files. If at anytime during this process you get error messages of "access denied", take "ownership" of the folder you are trying to open.
For the above step:
If your laptop's hard drive is not SATA, you will need a cheap converter to convert the hookup to one that will fit in a desktop. Below is a link to one so you know exactly what you are looking for.

Hope this helps.

This issue may occur if the user profile was manually deleted by
using the command prompt or Windows Explorer by a user or by some
program. A profile that is manually deleted does not remove the security
identifier (SID) from the user profile list in the registry.
Since the SID is still present, Vista will still try to load the profile
by using the ProfileImagePath that points to a nonexistent path.
Therefore, the profile cannot be loaded.
This can also be a issue with the user profile entering into a backup state.
Manually renaming the C:\Users\(User Name) folder.
to solve this issue, you will need to visit the microsoft support website below and read the help available: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947215/en-us

Hi there,
It seems that your profile got corrupt, simply login from the administrator account of your computer,
You can solve the issue by procedure below
go to my computer>users>your profile> and copy all of your required data including outlook data if you are using to external drive or other partition (e.g D Drive)
then delete the profile folder from your laptop from c:\users\your profile
restart your laptop and try to login again from your username/password, if it stills give the problem,
Login via administrator account, go to Start>run> and type
control userpasswords2 and press enter, here you will see your profile, simply delete your profile and restart again, when the computer boots up again it should show you your profile if not again login via administrator account and recreate your profile and restart your laptop
after you login to your account, simply copy your data back to its location
if you require more assistance feel free to reply to this post
Regards,
Bilal
