MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You can download mp3 music files from the Internet to your computer and then copy them to your MP3 player using the USB cable. For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable to the MP3 player and the computer.

There is no reset button...go into the menu,scroll to other, press play, scroll to setting, press play, scroll to advanced, press play and this is where you find the reset. Sometimes though the reset won't do it and you have to reformat the memory. Hook to a computer and take off whatever files that you can and want to, save them to the computer for re-installation the you can reformat the memory from the computer. There is also a reformat in the menu under advanced

You can try an overnight charge. If that fails, the usual remedy is to return the device for service under warranty. Failure to accept a charge suggests a bad battery. I find no DIY instructions identifying a change of its battery. As to the driver failure, this is likely a compatibility issue. You have not identified your operating system. The user manual may identify which OS the device is compatible with. Try installing the driver with the device disconnected, reboot, plug in the device, reboot again. I believe the device worked with Windows 7 or XP but am uncertain if it worked with other OS.

As told in the manual on page 6 of the manual, run the Setup.exe file on the provided CD to install the driver on the computer.
The driver installs all the Media Player Utilities for getting the player connected.
When not being able to run the CD, the driver can be downloaded as a zip-file with next link:

Right click this link; select save target as... to save the zip-file to
a location on the computer. Next unzip the file and look for the
Setup.exe file in the submaps. Run the Setup.exe file to start the
installation of the utility programs.
After installation of Media Player Utilities next programs can be used:
- AMV Player
- AMV & AVI Video Converter
- Media Manager
- Media Player Disk Management
- Media Player Upgrade Tool
