Hisense Refurbished 50"" 1080p LED-LCD HDTV -50K23DG Logo

On my Hisense 50K23DG LED TV, I have sound but no picture.

First, in a dark room, I looked for light while TV was on. NONE. So no backlights. I did the flashlight test.... I see the picture on the TV. So that tells me that the T-Con board and main Board are both fine and the the issue is either the Inverter or LED Driver Board. My problem is that I can not locate either for this TV. I THINK the inverter is built in with the power supply... I am not sure where the LED Driver board is or if this TV has one or what. Should I replace the Power Supply Board?

Hi,
Hisense TV's usually use PCB Boards by Vestel and not Hisense themselves, have a look at: Vestel Help If the Boards in your Hisense match this Board/Part Number format at least you'll know what to search for, replacing the power supply will not help unless the process has been incorporated into the power supply and that is not known for certain yet

Hisense LED LCD TV, Model 50H5C NO Video No Sound

Your LED backlights are bad and need replacing, it's something you can do yourself but look at some youtube vids before attempting to do it, the panel is extremely fragile on this model set, be careful handling it or it will break then the TV is junk and the money spent on lamp strips is waisted. Also match the old strips to the pictures of new ones as this model uses 2 styles of strips, best place to buy them is shopjimmy.com

LCD tv Hisense model 50K23DG. No picture, No sound, No backlight. Voltage all look good. When I press power, the red light flashes 6 times. I am suspect its an LED failure.

Hello Kenpappas, for what you describe, it would seem like a backlighting problem
questions if you can have a bad led ?, if many times a Led, is the one that proboca the failure
The correct solution from my point of view is, replace, all the Leds
As it is not practical to replace each led in the strips
It is more practical and simple, replace the full strips of leds
I send you a video, in which they show, the procedure of replacing the LED strips on a Hisense TV
I hope you can solve the problem
Greetings Franco Dosil

Hisense 50k23dg backlights are off and voltage test from led driver is zero.

Chances are the power supply is fine and you have shorted lamps in the panel

I have a Hisense 55" model #50K23DG . The screen went out but the sound is perfectly clear. You can only see the image when you put a flashlight up against the screen. What could be the problem?

i assume this is an lcd, not led tv. the flourescent backlighting's inverter unit has gone out. its usually a seperate ic card, so it is repairable, if you can source the part cheap

Hisense 50h5g model the backlights are blinking the pictures is really dark but sound quality is still good what may be the issue

Perhaps the backlight LED driver board needs to re-seated.
Also check flex wire connectors for loose connection.
reseat or replace

Where is the Hisense 50K23DG Backlight Inverter located?

Hi, The part number for this inverter is: 167210, RSAG7.820.5463,
it will be printed on the board somewhere perhaps on a sticky label, have a good search around all the boards if you are unfamiliar with the set. If its any help start with the smaller Boards first, the largest will be Main AV and the Power Supply

Hisense H32K26E picture is barely visible

This is either the backlight or the backlight power supply that has failed. The unit is LED and those units push the LED lights to the maximum limit for brightness and the lights fail.. It is not as simple as changing a lightbulb though. The LED lights come in a strip and have to be ordered. They are soldered and glued or taped in place.
