GE JS900 electric range. The top burners work fine. There are no lights or clock on control panel so the oven cannot be turned on. This was realized after not using the oven for a week or so.

Unplug the unit and see if this will reset the board. If this doesn't work then replace the oven control board.

We tested the EOC and it will indeed need a replacement. Also, just a couple weeks prior we ran the "clean" mode on the oven as did another poster who experienced the "pop" and loss of the control board/oven function, but still had stove top function.
