My BMW E30 1992 does not want to start. It sounds as if the anti theft code does bot want to disarm once one has put in the right code. So disconnected battery and waited fro 24hours reconnect battery...

Here is information on disarming the alarm! First you need to know if it is a factor or after market system! Here is how you tell if the headlights are flashing, the alarm system is factory installed. Inserting the key into the driver door lock and turning to the left then back to the right is supposed to disarm it. If the parking lights are blinking,, the alarm is an aftermarket add on, and there should be a disarm button under the dash on the driver side. If it' an aftermarket alarm, you should be able to have it removed. There is a way to bypass the factory alarm. There is a wiring harness in the driver's door. You will have to remove the door panel to find it. The wire is dark green and purple. Splice into that wire and ground it to the chassis and the alarm should no longer work

Ilost my keys, and had to have my car so i broke the ingnition houseing...to try and crank it...but when i try turning it over it is telling me something about the anti teft system and i should remove the...

you def messed up it needs the ignition key to bypass the theft system. without it you cant start it. replace the housing install a new ignition key and tumbler and have reprogramed to solve this problem

This is the problem due to your anti theft alarm system. You have not mentioned which brand of anti-theft alarm system you have? Anyhow, most of the systems have a reset switch inside the kit, open the kit and on the main board, u will find the reset button, press that and hold for 5 sec, the system will be reset. Otherwise, there are 2 or 3 fuses with the wiring of kit, remove those fuses and ur engine will wake up but the anti-theft system wont work then, hope this will solve the problem

Need to disconnect anti teft device. where is it located?

if you activate the anti theft on the jeep because of no remote,you have to lock and unlock the passenger side door twice to disarm it.
it is not easy to bypass the anti theft module.a place that installs alarms would be the best bet.get an after market alarm put in for about the cost of a couple remotes.or if you buy a used remote,it can be re programmed using the obd2 diagnostic unit.
