Special be carefull with the 4 torx screws if you decide to disassemble the head because all the material of this machine is very soft before you know its broken its also not a expensive Fein model but a nice machine for that price . take a hand screwdriver with direct the right size to feel if its correct fit because its to late if a screw breaks. yes its having very soft material screws, the head cannot have a disassembling its a complete part and if that is complete but all by all decide if you think its worth to replace beware of the price , the price is marketing technically adjusted for this machine and expensive and not made to dissasemble in a bench vise you can all things try to disassemble but re-assembling with new spare parts is not deliverable. only complete . 1 little bearing gives the little eccentric rash on the head , i have i all the time i repaire tools not one time that a head of this tool was defect if you can move the lever free and smootly you can solvent clean and after that lubricate it again but re connect the bearing fronttop machine between the space in the lever set the head in a bench vise fixated that the lever is correct in the center position , and then mount the machine slowly on the head again and if its run mount a attachment or blade and control it again .

It depends on which model you have. Most models have a fan that will never need replaced. Tandem air and Supralight models have a fan that could be damaged on older models but is unlikely on newer models as fan are now made from a flexible material. Remove the motor assembly and disassemble to get to the fan. Remove the nut from. The shaft and remove the fan. Install new fan and put back together in reverse order as it was taken apart.

I can't find the manual for that model number. Here's the Kenmore site with most of their models.
Double check the number, and type it into the given space. Again, that model number comes up blank. Googling it also provides no hit.

YOU DO NOT WANT TO DISASSEMBLE THESE UNITS!! Especially if it's under warranty! They require special tools for assembly and disassembly.

Need model #, but if unit is NOT a pro 2X then see following repair. If the unit does not spray from nozzle but DOES spray from upholstery hose, then the heater is likely clogged and the upper handle must be disassembled and heater removed and replaced. If the spray doesn't come out from either place, then check belts. If belts are o.k. you need to disassemble base and likely replace pump. pump replacement is a little tricky.
