Sounds like you are low on memory, delete unwanted files and then try again.

Similar to a computer, a smartphone can become bogged down with too many open apps, not enough free space, or not enough free memory.
Fragmented files make it harder (longer) for phone software to search.
A virus could be 'hogging' memory.
All of the above can slow down a phone to the point of 'hanging' or 'freezing'.
So first, close any unused apps, including DATA.
Data should <i>only</i> be active when needed.
Increase your SD card size (if not already done).
If you have a card-reader, put SDcard in reader and DEFRAG the card, to pack file data together in order.
Download an AV app for Android then scan for virus.
Reboot the phone to refresh.
If not solved yet, the cause may be a faulty (built-in) antenna.

These symptoms sound like a dying tablet or a virus infection.

Here's what I recommend:

Go to the Google Play Store and search for ANTI-MALWARE apps. Download one you like and install and run.

If the tablet is dying, please make a backup of all data you may want to keep as soon as you can.

Perhaps you are running put of mrmpry. Can you close apps that are running gou are not dunning? Perhaps reboot the device.

You might have too many apps or you might have too many apps that are active in the background that are slowing your tablet down. Uninstall unused apps or turn them off through settings. Apps always sync in the background, even when you don't use them. When too many apps are running at the same time, they drag down the wifi speed. Go to Settings>Wireless and Networks> Data Usage, view all the apps that are actively syncing. Also, in Settings>Device>Battery, you'll see which apps are actively draining your battery (if this is also an issue). You might be surprised which apps are either draining your battery or always syncing.

remove unwanted applications, also the ones you dont use, reboot the tablet once, if still no help, download cleanmaster app its very nice

Try restarting it, or turning off the power. Try that a few times. If that doesn't work than you can go to your settings and get rid of the apps running in the background. If it still freezes, you could have a virus, and should take it to a Samsung store, or try to find a Anti-virus downloadable software
