Michley-Tivax.com sells replacement parts for all their machines on their website- including foot pedals and adapters. I bought a replacement when my original pedal went bad- the wires inside became loose - which I then corrected by unscrewing the two pieces tightening up the wires with a bit of black electrical tape then re-screwing the one screw-until that didn't even fix it- so had to buy a new one and went there to do it. $5 total - $3 for the pedal , $2 for shipping( course I live 2 hrs. from them in California )- replacement works great, shipped super fast, and the staff couldn't be nicer!!!Michley-Tivax.com sells replacement parts for all their machines on their website- including foot pedals and adapters. Why is my foot pedal on sewing machine not working?Unplug the cable from the power outlet and also the machines. Use a screwdriver to take the foot pedal apart and check the wires and connections and make sure nothing is blocking it. If you can't find anything wrong you may need to buy a new foot pedal.

The foot pedal below uses a small connector. Make sure the connector is fully installed. It is possible that this foot pedal is defective. You need to try borrow another before replacing.
This pedal below with a 110 volt connector controls the speed of the machine directly. If the machine is racing replace the pedal with an exact replacement the problem will be solved.
well if the foot pedal isn't working, you can either replace it with a new one or take the machine to a sewing machine repair shop & let them check the foot pedal & see if it's fixable
I looked a the Infinity IN-USB-1 foot pedal, thanks. I would go out and buy a second foot pedal for home then you can remote your work pc by using the foot pedal from home. Make sure you install the drivers for the foot pedal at your home pc. If this doesnt work, you can always take the pedal back to the store. I figure that If you took away your mouse from your home pc, you could not move your mouse on the work pc. It maybe the same with the pedal. Let me know if it works.
