I have a 46" HD flat screen with comcast difital cable. The TV worked fine last night but when we turned it on this morning we had audio and could see wraps and screens provided by comcast but the programming reflected just a black screen. I can change channels and see the Comcast channel and show description, but the screen behind it remains black. Did I push something on the remote to make the screen go dark while maintaining the audio?

Check all sources , ie cable box, dvd player or video game. If all have no sound check mute setting in menu or on remote. iI just cable box or sat receiver or evan att uverse box turn them of then back on. the uverse box you may have to remove power. If still no audio request service. The problem is likely the main board or speakers .
This low audio problem happened to me suddenly yesterday. I powered off over night - no change. I plugged the A/V cables into a second TV - no change. I called Comcast - problem solved. Tap these buttons on the remote;
ok your tv does not come with the very best sound, you have to get a receiver 7.1 or you can use the optical wire , that's if the system you are using has that option.
