How do I change the HDMI from 720 to 1080.

Please double check that you've haven't used your remote to remove the display. Some remotes have a "visual mute" option. Also, please ensure that you're tuned to the correct HDMI input. If you accidentally changed it, you might have moved to an hdmi channel or state that has no input.

Hi U might have put youre TV into sleep mode ... unplug power cord for a few minutes if it is the problem it should lose its memory.,.good luck

Try going to your input button on your remote and see if you are still on the right input like if your tv is using a hdmi cable from your cable or satellite box then your input should be hdmi or hdmi 1 or hdmi 2 etc... also if you have cable or satellite make sure you didn't change the actual tv off of channel 3 or 4 whichever you have your cable or satellite box set on. DONT USE the remote that came with your TV

use the buttons on the box to change the channel. did the channel change?

usually when someone only has one channel its because they are changing the tv channel not the cable box channel

think of it like this:
the TV is a monitor and should always be on the same channel (3, 4, hdmi, or whatever) its actually the box that tunes and the tv always stays on the same channel.

so if you change the tv channel you are no longer watching the output of the cable box.

USE the remote supplied by your cable provider

the code that's entered on the remote is the wrong one for the tv. use the instructions for the remote and get the correct code.. for your model or search ebay for the exact remote. also child lock maybe activated on the tv meaning you cant use the buttons on your tv until you use menu on the remote to take it of.

sorry the font change on me. this unit has compatbilty issue with some hdmi sorces. there is also a safety interlock sensor if it see extra light it thinks your trying to do something wrong and locks up hdmi.

Since you have the cable connected to the reciever thru the HDMI, you may have accidently changed the input source of the reciever from HDMI or digital to analog.

When you have the reciever set to listen to the cable, check the input mode and make sure it is set to use the HDMI or digital input and not the analog.
The rca jacks are analog, and they worked, so I think you have just solved your own problem without realizing it.
