Hi I have teviono 42" lcd4203id model and tv is white picture nothing on there the TV powers up light comes on but it doesn't bring picture what the fault would be?thanks

if stand-by voltages are good, you probably have bad inverter board. could be one or two depending on unit

Panasonic 42" Plasma Model #: th42pz80u won't turn on. No indicator light illuminates. While TV is plugged in, it continually cycles on/off. Picture does not come up. TV is 4 years old.

Sony KDF-42 WE655 TV. Replaced lamp and it now works; however sometimes when it is first turned on the audio and video quit for about a minute and the green light flashes. Then both sound and video...

You may have a bad ballast. Check to see if your lamp is lighting up through the back of your T.V. prior to the picture coming on. If it has done this since you bought it, it's probably the just the way the T.V. was designed. If it still comes on every time, it could also be a power supply issue, but nothing to stress about.

, hi ,, im having a similar problem with the same unit.

it was working fine and all of a sudden the pictured started to look a bit weird , the best way to explain it is probably like this.
ever seen a computer running windows in 256 colour mode?

the picture itself is clear as a bell and the tv works perfectly , but everything looks like this ,

Hi,
Your power supply board is dead, u know basic electronics’ and soldering? Most of the times, the power supply board just have dead leakages gases capacitors.These capacitors always bulges up on it top,or puff up on it top.Replaced these gases leakages capacitors will get your TV power stable,and work again.Or tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

I am having the same problem with my 42" vizio tv. When plugged in the standby light is on and when turned on the light switches from orange to white, however there is no sound and no picture. 42' plasma magnavox model # 42MF230A has no picture and no sound

I had the same problem with an Insignia 42" 1080p. Turn off the tv power and disconnect all cables (i started with power cable, then HD cables then HDMI). Wait 30 seconds with nothing plugged in, then I plugged everything back in (in reverse order) and it works fine.
