I have a 32inch lg cs46 series tv and the system lock has been activated mistakenly and it askes for password when i try to asess the set up and retune my tv,is there any master code i can use?

Try using the default password 0000 or if that doesn't work, go to menu, lock and see if the lock system is on.. If the lock system is on, turn it off.

Not sure what you've selected but most lg smart TVs have an initial setting under the options menu that performs a factory reset. It will restart on its own when it's done. If you have set a password and the lock is active a pop up will ask you for it as this is not reset and so if you don't know it then don't reset the TV else you'll be locked out. Also very important is to not power off the set while it's re-initialising either.

I'd try the reset first. You could try asking their support. They seem to answer every question that they are asked, and the answers seem pretty thorough.

If it is from programs you have recorded, you need to change the settings on your PVR, not the TV. Each PVR is different so you'll need to check the owners manual for your model.

You say it doesn't ask for code whats that mean, is the tv still locked? If You can get into the menu, do a factory reset!

Which LG TV do you have? For the LG TV that I have, you need to know the current password to change it or return it to the default.

For my unit, click the Menu button on the remote. Go to Settings and click Enter. Navigate to Lock and click enter. Then select Set Password and click enter again. The default (initial) password is 0000 . Click Enter again to save the password. To enable or disable the Lock, select System Lock from the Lock sub-menu. You will need to enter the password to unlock the TV.

I hope this helps. (My tv is a recent Smart TV 3D units.) Please add a comment with your model and I'll try to check if there are other steps you can try. My TV remembers the password even when unplugged since it has solid state memory.

Hi just follow these steps
1. Insert card into your phone but don’t access it through phone. 2. Run FExplorer and Open the path C:\system. 3. You will find a file called mmcstore ,rename the file mmcstore.txt 4. Copy that file(mmcstore.txt) to your pc and open that file in notepad. 5. You will find your password in that file.

There is almost no way yet known to hack the memory card password in case of these types of phone but there is a way to do it some of the s60 3rd edition phones and almost all the E-series phones.
The remote lock option in E-Series phone allws you to unlock your phone by sending a sms.
The only thing you have to do is to activate this feature by going to Tools | Settings | Security | Phone and SIM | Allow remote lock menu. The password of your memory card will be your remote lock message.
So you have to just send a sms containing your remote lock message that will automatically change your memory card passsword

I have a Vision Quest 32inch PVQ-32VGB and the some of the channels have locked and the factory password of 0000 does not work any suggestions? thanks
