My pioneer cdj 800 mk2 powers off while a song is playing...does anyone know why? I don't know why it does this, I could be in a mix and all of a sudden it powers off and then powers back on.

More than likely the contact pad (aka Membrane pad) is probably damaged... or the flat cable which connects to the main processor, might be loose, or damaged.
You'll need to get this professionally checked out by a qualified technician. It's not an easy fix.
Have you tried cleaning the lens out? Invest in a good quality CD cleaner. IF this does not solve your problem, then you more than likely have damage to the reader, and will need to be replaced.
you did not mention that you have a power amplifier to drive your Speakers. well you need to have one unless you have a powered speaker. the sugnal comes from the mixer main output goes to the input of your amp. or powered speaker.
