I have brand new battery in 2012 ford focus but when I put battery in car it says low battery and the lights flicker on and off and it wont start but battery is brand new...and when i jump start it it runs...

Take back to Dealer,warranty will fix it.

Check that you are using the correct type of batteries and that they are rechageable as i found i had a similer problem when using just normal non recargeable

Battery Problems

I had problem with the "brand new" battereis that came with camera (date on batteries was thru 2014) ... after 2 or 3 pictures ... camera would not work. I replaced with fresh batteries ... works great now. I checked voltage on shipped batteries (that came with camera) ... was about 1.3 volts ... new battereis should be 1.55+ volts. This suggests that shipped "brand new| batteries ... are not "brand new". I called Polaroid .. best I got was "sorry" ... and "call Duracell".
